The latest finding of the invasive tree killer was along the road to the Pigs Eye dump. In other words trees being hauled there have the Borer falling off or flying off to infect trees there. This failure of Government to have infected trees properly treated before moving them around means the entire metro is INFECTED!! Because whereever infected trees were hauled probably now have the bugs that spread the infestation. Thanks a bunch Government!!

I am in favor of smaller government that protects me from every possible outcome.

Actually, the reason for the infestation at Pigs Eye is due to the inability to process tree waste in time before the beetles flight season begins in late spring. The ash debris was moved there during the dormant season when no beetles are flying and was not able to be processed in time due to flooding several years ago.
