Was he on his way to an American Bar Association convention and trying to fit in with the lawyers?

(NOTE: Lawyers have far and away the highest rates of alcoholism and drug abuse of any major profession.)

QUESTION: What do you call a sober and intelligent person at an American Bar Association convention?

ANSWER: The caterer.

I get that you're making a joke here, but this is the kind of joke you tell at a party and everyone listening makes an excuse and slowly walks away.

Here's a good one...

How do cops get a alcohol level from a passed out man.
Blood tests at the hospital most likely. Blood tests for "Bloood Alcohol Concentration/Content" are actually far more accurate than breath tests. Never hesitate to request one should you find yourself in a situation in which your precise BAC is imperative (ie DUI).

I was reading this story and I couldn't help but remember that I was once screwed over by my lawyer. Did anyone else get that from this story?

.559? That's base level in Wisconsin. Are we sure he didn't pass out because he dipped under .6?

They took him to the hospital. A tox screen was necessary to make sure he didn't ingest another substance that could cause death. Alcohol will show up on this tox screen. No big conspiracy here. Just trying to see if medical intervention was required.
