You know what? There is no greater competition than an unregulated marketplace. That is what I stand up and fight for on a daily basis. Get the Government the hell out of regulating the private sector because the free market is the best equalizer there is.
However, I am one of those evil white businessmen who say that if your widget is better and cheaper than your competition, I will buy yours.
I don't care if you are male, female or half & half. Same thing with skin color and sexual preference. If your product is the best value to my company, I will buy it.
Have you ever tried to sell something to a US Government Agency? Have you ever tried to sell something to someone who does business with the US Government?
Competition falls to political correctness in doing business with so-called "disadvantaged" businesses. It does not matter if you are better and cheaper than the other guy, all that matters is that you are able to check the correct protected class box on that government application and overview form.
I am one of the few people left that are true believers in the competitive marketplace.
Hey,I almost forgot, I was out West a couple of weeks back, finishing up the closing of our office in Seattle, and I had a small smirk as I passed the Hertz rental car facility off of 161st heading North. Seem pretty easy to see, no big buildings blocking it. I was going to stop in and see if the $100 bucks was still there!

A very sincere 'Thank you' for the laugh. The $100 is long gone. Our fake Seattle resident decided that he/she/it did not need the $100.

That was fine with me since it got spent on a very good bottle of single malt scotch that was enjoyed by a number of my friends after my customer's charity golf tourney.

The fake black guy is going to give us all a lesson in economics while he champions over regulated markets in which the government chooses the winners and the loosers.

I am happy to learn all about the benefits of your government controlled economy. Please tell us more.

Well, the "loosers" are folks who pretend to have a point, like you... Oddly, you obsessed over Jesse's Hymie town, but ignored Nixon's RANTS

"The Jews have certain traits," he said. "The Irish have certain – for example, the Irish can't drink. What you always have to remember with the Irish is they get mean. Virtually every Irish I've known gets mean when he drinks. Particularly the real Irish.

He then turned to Italian-Americans.

"The Italians, of course, those people course don't have their heads screwed on tight," he said. "They are wonderful people, but ..."

As his voice trailed off, he turned to Jews: "The Jews are just a very aggressive and abrasive and obnoxious personality."

Another ignorant statement from the fake black guy.

Your solution is the government choosing winners and losers. Then you bemoan the lack of growth in the private sector jobs market. What the hell do you think will happen when “those that know better”(aka government) decide what industries prosper rather than allowing the marketplace to make that determination.

You want your centrally planned government economy? Then look for stagnant growth and inflation. France and Greece will soon be prosperous compared to the US if we continue on the path Obama is leading us onto.

Hey, Mayor Archie...your city is broke! The country is broke! What part of "there is no more money" do you not understand?
What part of "your right wing extremist views are irrelevant" don't you understand?

One would think that you would have learned SOMETHING from November.

You really are quite the ignorant one.

The City of Minneapolis is broke.
The State of Minnesota is $2.1 Billion in the hole.
The USA is $16.4 Trillion in debt.

There is no more money. Those of us that actually pay taxes, rather than mooch off of others like you do, are tired of paying for your FREE STUFF.

Take your shared car program and stuff it where the sun doesn't shine.

The fake black guy trusts government bureaucrats.

I say you should trust the market to the consumer. That is the greatest equalizer on the face of the Earth.

Maybe you are not smart enough to manage your own life, but most people are.

The economy prospers when government gets the hell out of the way instead of putting up road blocks via regulations that do nothing but milk capital out of the markets and/or prevent growth in the private sector.

Trickle down economics no longer work because of inflation.

Anything that trickles down is worthless by the time it gets to the bottom.

Ask obama about changes to how social security will calculate inflation.

Please don't talk about economics as you have any understanding of even what money is.

If you are only capable of getting a job stocking shelves overnight at the local grocery store, that is your problem not mine.

If you want your life to improve, do something to improve yourself.
