That is what we heard from all the Democrats and Gov Macy for the past 2 years.

Medtronic just announced they are moving their corporate headquarters to Ireland because of a more friendly tax climate.

Oops!

Hey but the Libertards were all over the media today claiming we will get MORE taxes because of the consolidation. Keep building BILLION DOLLAR trains to nowhere with jacked up taxes. Keep letting metro "highways" turn to crap with traffic jams every phooking day of the week with complete gridlock with any snow. Keep it up Libertards and Minnesota will continue the private sector decline until there's nothing left but Government jobs.

Just like the socialist European countries.

Medtronic will claim there will be job growth in Minnesota and then pull the proverbial plug to avoid regressive ObamaCare taxes and State level Corporate taxes.

Knock yourself out Libertards, kill it off. Enjoy your wonderful BILLION dollar trains moving 10K riders when the crappy freeways carry MILLIONS of daily commuters.

The DFL overtaxes and picks winners like: Broadband, community center, old theaters, failed public education, BILLION DOLLAR rail, LGA to failed cities and towns, Nicolet Mall, Wilf's ball fields, all kinds of pork projects for powerful DFL cronies.

It's entertaining to watch the Legislature dole out the pork after they overtax to the tune of $3,200,000,000.

And Medtronic LEAVES!!!! Mission accomplished DFL and Obama..

And folks like the democrats all wonder why businesses are heading to states like South Dakota.
.
Like the one my late father used to work for when it was based in the metro here. He ended up on early retirement due to them moving. Five years ahead of what he had planned to retire at.

And the DFL is happy with the Green Line success. 75,000 riders on the first weekend. Only one wreck with a car. Running 15 mins late. Rail cars are running 1/2 full. IF the phoocking Green Line was in so much demand it would be FULL.

Green Line is already a failure!! Oh forgot, it provided thousands of construction jobs. Now the fluf is gone and Minnesota Taxpayers are STUCK with another lemon. Maybe the Lemon Law could be used to get rid of the train? The Hiawatha needs $30,000,000 a year from the General Fund to keep it running, this phoocking Green Line will cost MORE, probably $50,000,000.
