When will the left learn to admit their mistakes?

On Sunday morning, CNN foreign affairs correspondent Elise Labott had some tough questions for secretary of state John Kerry about the recent exchange of five Guantanamo Bay detainees for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

He didn’t have much in the way of straight answers for her.

“On a scale of one to ten, ten being the most confident,” Labott asked,“how confident are you that (the Qataris) will be able to keep a close eye on (the released detainees)?”

“They’re not the only ones keeping an eye on them,” the secretary replied.

“The U.S. is going to be monitoring them?” Labott pushed back.

“I’m telling you they aren’t the only ones keeping an eye on them,” Kerry said.“We have confidence in those requirements. If they’re violated, then we have ability to be able to do things.”

Labott pushed Kerry, asking whether the United States would go in and kill any of the released detainees if they act against American interests.

Kerry demurred.

Labott then noted the backlash against Bergdahl, and asked Kerry whether he though Bergdahl was being “swiftboated” or whether the solider had served honorably.

“There’s plenty of time for people to sort through what happened, what didn’t happen,” Kerry said.“I don’t know all the facts.”

“Sounds like you’re not sure he served with honor and distinction,” Labott pressed.

Kerry never did say that Bergdahl was a hero, merely asserting that “it would have been offensive and incomprehensible to consciously leave an American behind, no matter what.”

Obama found out about it on TV, actually CBS NEWS. Obama is the biggest micro-manager ever and he now claims he had nothing to do with this exchange? Obama's finger prints are all over the swap, just like his hands were all over the prisoners mom. The Obama "game" is over, time for change!!

One claim out there is that it was never about a prisoner swap until Obama stepped in. Up until that point it was all about cash - which they threw in on the deal anyway.

How about let's actually HELP the vets waiting for it? The only way to do that is to go around the corrupt VA and offer private insurance coverage so they can get started now.

You progressives would rather MORE vets die than allow them to get something other than government run healthcare. Grow up.

You need to shut the hell up,you can care less about helping the veterans LOL all you want is to help yourself by taking away the veterans benefits and so that the private sector can drain their benefits,but it's not going to happen so get your freeloader hands off of the veterans benefits,we won't surrender to your corporate take over BS,we will fix our own system,and you should concern yourself with fixing your corrupt private system,I do agree with giving rural vets getting a paid for medical needs to the private sector .,but never will let frauds like you into our system or your corporate masters run our system.;

I do NOT need to "shut the hell up" and I will not. Like I said, you would rather see more vets die than admit that private healthcare can do the job BETTER than the corrupt VA can.

Even as federal inspectors repeatedly warned that patient wait lists were having a detrimental impact on care, the troubled Veterans Affairs health system handed out $108.7 million in bonuses to executives and employees the past three years, an Asbury Park Press investigation found. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/201...

How far would $108.7 MILLION gone towards real help in the private sector?

It's clear the VA medical system can't get any worse. To promise health care and then put Vets on a waiting list until they die is pretty bad.

How anyone can argue against the atrocious care the vets received at these va hospitals is beyond me. It is quite obvious the va hospitals are a DISASTER! Instead of coming up with common sense solutions to this issue, democrats would rather throw an a$$ load of money at this issue (which 95% of the time fails miserably) and hope this situation goes away. This is the future of government run healthcare folks!

In order to have an informed opinion and be able to state it one must have a wealth of knowledge as deep as Lake Superior. Folks like redeemer are like a shallow swamp in terms of knowledge and brainpower.

The VA Medical system has always been a hunk of junk, during GOP and Liberal rules. It's not about Obama, it's about sick Vets. Of course we can thump Obama because he opened his yap in 2007 and promised the Vets would be a priority and once elected Obama did NOTHING, we now know that is Obama's Method of Operation, to do nothing. No surprise there after 5+ years of Obama everyone understands what he is made of, and it isn't good.

Only Obama operatives still support him.

DOJ criminals investigating criminals.....hmmmm... I call B.S.! And really, what are they going to do when they find out? Not give them their bonus this year? There is no punishment in Government, just promotions and unwarranted bonuses. Just look at Lois Lerner? Why is she not in Jail? And Obama and most of congress and senate? Why aren't they in jail?

Coming from a paranoid schizophrenic that sees white supremacists around every corner and compares gubernatorial election to republican primaries. Why don't you go back to convincing yourself that tea party victories somehow "help" the democrats you loony moron!

The first thing that happens when a Veteran of the US Armed Forces goes to the VA DR is a series of question. Prompted by the computer. The DR will not see you till the line of Questioning has been completed. One of those questions is Where you ever Deployed to Iraq. Now the VA has your medical records and your medical records show deployment dates. Though your mission is not detailed your deployment and return are in this file. They say that this line of questioning is to "test" the memory of the Veteran. How ever when the DR is from another country one does not know whom they are working for. It also begs to wonder if these DR are imported for the purpose of Identifying Veterans of conflict so that they can be denied care, killing or Jhida by neglect. Millions of records have just vanished like that air plane. People say I am crazy that the US government would never do such things.

Is the United States Federal Government turning over anyone whom served under the Bush Administration to terrorist Organizations to eliminate any opposition? These question they ask are not about a Veterans Health. They are identifying questions. With the advent in Iraq how concerned should the Veterans of that war be with our own country? Has the United States Government stood down? Was the Clinton family bitter after leaving the White House? Will the Democratic party par take in the identification and quite executions of our Iraq war Veterans?
