I guess we know which side of the issue the corporate-controlled PeePress is going to devote its coverage to. Hmmmm. I wonder why there hasn't been any relevant coverage until the loud, well-orchestrated protesters arrived arrived to drown out the rational voices for change.

People with principles are always "well orchestrated." And the protesters at these town hall meetings aren't pro-corporate, they're pro-freedom. Only a big-government nanny-statist wouldn't know the difference.

The democratic party, in it's infinite wisdom have included the following on pages 410 thru 414. Establishing guidelines for the determination of gender. There will even be a department to administer this.

These two are beautiful. Perhaps there is hope for the American people. Maybe we haven't completely devolved into an ignorant mob that just votes itself freebies on borrowed money.

You're right. Two great examples of ignorant mobs actually condemning a Senator for House members holding a seminar to learn, line-by-line about the legislation they were expected to act on.

The ignorant mobs obviously want the House members to vote in the dark according to party lines. I hope the Democrats get this message.

The Democrats spend us to death.

The Republicans borrow us to death.

Both enrich themselves and their cronies at our expense.

The Supreme Court creates laws from the bench.

Not one positive or constructive piece of legislation has come from our government in the last 150 years.

Our government cannot last much longer like this.

Yeah! Like the principled conservative, anti-immigrationist throngs who appear in Triumph of the Will. Like the cheering crowds who welcomed the conservative PM Neville Chamberlain back from Munich with "peace in our time".

No, they both spend us to death, it's just that the Democrats pay for their spending with tax increases. Republicans spend but don't have the guts to face their constituents when it comes time to pay the check, so they run massive deficits, and recite the mantra "What Would Reagan Do?"

It's just that Bush was too abjectly stupid to be simply irresponsible and broke the world. Now, we have to spend more just to save our economy from going the way of the Soviet Union.

I have news for you. Obama will have to increase tax rates for everyone or cut spending. His quadrupled deficit is not sustainable. I can guarantee he won't find enough cuts or have the "guts" to do so. There's not enough rich people to tax to get us out of this mess.

But didn't Obama basically say 'Read my lips, no new taxes' on the middle class? Oy, the sheeple aren't going to like that.

Why, none of his other broken campagin promises seem to bother them.

Geithner and Summers floated a trial balloon last week when they left the door open nor did the dclose the door on a rate hike for middle income Americans. Of course Obama right away was on damage control and repeated his vow, which again is as hollow as the rest of his lies. Without cuts it's not sustainible. Massive growth is not going to happen for a while so that's not an option. There's not enough rich people to pay for it. Let alone adding another trillion for healthcare. If that goes through there's going to have to be a tax increase on almost everyone. Most rational people will admit that in a sober analysis.

Facts Are Stubborn Things
Posted by Macon Phillips

Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said,“facts are stubborn things.”

Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to “uncover” the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions.

In this video, Linda Douglass, the communications director for the White House’s Health Reform Office, addresses one example that makes it look like the President intends to “eliminate” private coverage, when the reality couldn’t be further from the truth.

For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will be able to keep them. He has even proposed eight consumer protections relating specifically to the health insurance industry.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Asking for the public to turn in reform doubters to the supreme Gestapo. Next it will be cap and trade doubters. What next?
