At what point does it seem intelligent to let arsonists or any violent offender out on bond?!? Don't we all realize there is some inherent risk?!?

Hel-l-oooooooo! She likes to burn stuff! Keep her where she can't get at matches or a lighter. Don't wait until she sets fire to an occupied dwelling--maybe with kids inside.

Burn all of her belongings so she knows how it feels to lose possesions to fire. Make her stand really close to get some heat, too.

If Waynesboro can let a muderer out on $500.00 cash bond, this is nothing. She is definitely TRRRIIIIPPPPPING!

My My you all are a tough crowd. I realize what she did was wrong but my goodness this woman is ill. She needs help not thrown in jail. Hope nobody in your family ever needs help guess they wouldn't get it.

It definitely sounds like she has a mental illness, but she cannot be allowed to be free and set more fires.
I'm sure her defense will ask for a psychiatric evaluation.
As Sunny said, the next time could be an occupied dwelling.

What a good idea! I think you should move her into YOUR home while she is getting help. Make sure you let your neighbors know so that they can increase their fire insurance and buy a lot of fire extinguishers. Maybe they could assign a fire truck to stay by your house 24/7. You'd better buy some life insurance for yourself and your family.

Don't think I said let her move into someones home ... I said jail isn't a place for people with mental illnesses. OMG. Maybe you are mentally ill. I think a hospital would be a better place for her don't you think?? What if she was your mother or sister?

AAHHHH, While I understand your sentiments, I don't agree with them. I do agree she has a problem. However that may very well border on the criminally insane, which is tough to prove in court. I'm sure she was given a mental competency test and was found competent to stand trial. With all the budget cuts I don't believe she could be properly monitered in an institution. My opinion, she should go to jail.
