Neither is education. Americans and the people of Netcong in particular, are being robbed by parents who use "special needs" for free pre-school! It took Melissa Bammer 2 years to become aware. She then just copied Mine Hill by offering out of town children a chance to attend school in Netcong. Charging for pre-school is a no brainer for the town rather than let the seats go empty. She should be advised that Mine Hill offers a FREE opportunity to attend their school, not just pre-K, on the taxpayers dime. The state will even give you a credit for transportation. Pay her enough money and WOW she learns.

Snap out of it property owners. The money charged for the pre-k students is not enough to cover the $4 million needed for repairs to make the school right. Next suggestion PLEASE before some out of town parent sues the distric for endangering their little Suezi/Johnny. Not too smart an idea bringing in other children.

it would be very beneficial to the school to charge for pre-k. the cost is very, very cheap compared to other pre-schools and netcong school could put the money to good use. it is a great idea. out of district children would be covered just like in district children as far as lawsuits. it is an excellent move on the part of the board and school administration.

It is costing parents $900 for the year. That is a great price!

Of course $5 a day is a bargain. The taxpayers are subsidizing at least half of the cost.
