If these people want to sell cooked crayfish, okay. But selling them live to anyone who comes by is the height of irresponsibility. Invasive species, as noted by others, are incredibly harmful to native species populations.
And who can prove that the people buying them would not be responsible.. since they can be bought over the internet there is NO insurance that it still wouldn't happen now is there?? If someone went out of state and brought back some and dumped them the same would happen.. Where is the guarantee that closing this man's business down will prevent this from happening?? In order for that to happen you would have to make sure that no other states sold them too...

that is brainwash mentality, why do we need to "obey the government"? the "government" has no right to tell people what to do.. sure, there are things like murder and burglary that needs o be controlled, but those are ethical matters.. "obeying the government" id your answer because you cannot think for yourself.
Yes, if someone wants to build a power plant next to your house and not obey any laws they should be ablt to, right?

If someone wants to pollute your local water supply they should be able to, right?

If someone wants to sell tainted drugs or food products they should be able to, right?

How DARE that nasty evil government try to keep us safe.

Keep you safe??? What are you a Railroad Valley springfish? Did you grant the game warden 3 wishes? How is government keeping us safe when they bust in and poison $4200.00 of private property BECAUSE some stupid hippy MIGHT release one into the wild?
Typical Barney Fife logic, lock everyone in prison and the crime rate goes down.

there is a line between keeping us safe and Communism. and the government has overstepped their bounds which explains why we have no more manufacturing base in this country.. a HUGE deficit of jobs due to this and are DEPENDENT on other countries for our everyday necessities..

Maybe these FINE people are not telling the full story. When food is sold to the public, it should be safe.
