This situation is simple terrible. The music store was such a wonderful place. As for breaks at 6:30 Elkstine, They must have come in early cause Border area schedules employees starting at 8 AM.

My hat goes off to all the Fire Fighters that put their life on the line all day saving what could be saved. My hat goes off to all the police agencies that helped keep them safe as well as catching this scum bag.

I think what Elkstine meant was that if they saw him back there and he may have looked suspicous wouldnt you have investigated after he left? I mean if you spotted some homeless guy hanging around your house you might go and check out if he had been up to anything? I would. As for all of this I hope we can clean up the streets of some of these vagrants. I understand some have mental illnesses but as for the hippies and beggers hanging outside of the walmart parking lot, what are they bringing to this town other than an eyesore? Start enforcing the laws, but I guess maybe the police are too busy talking on their cellphones as they drive around town to do anything but harrass people with out of state plates.......
Why don't you just speak for yourself -
sorry Joe987

I can't speak for anyone who was there. All I know is, someone should have called the police if they saw someone acting strangly. Just think for a moment. If it was your business or your home wouldn't you call the police? But arm chair quarterbacking is real easy. Hindsight is 20-20. Like everyone else i'm saddened by all the crime in our city. Time to clean the streets of the vagrants. Get the patrol cars off Little Walnut and have them patrol for other crimes.

Did they ever determine who started the fire at the First Savings Bank? Could this person (or monster) have started that fire as well? Maybe even the fire at Alexis Harsh's office?

The fire at First Savings was due to an electrical fault, not arson.

Was his father Liz's brother, the teacher accused of bad behavior with a student..and then committed suicide?

Thanks for a note of reason. The man sounds mentally ill and we, as a community, failed to recognize and treat.

Yes, I believe that is correct. His mother still lives here so I don't understand the "no known address" listed for him. Ruin them and toss them away like disposable garbage bags. Then don't claim them when they do something bad. This kid was failed BIG TIME.

It is common gossip that AH office situation was a mess and that she may have started it herself.

My sister and her fiance died under Alexis Harsh's care. DEA pulled her license to prescribe medication. She is now teaching at the Western New Mexico University. She is under review by the nursing board next month. Hopefully her nursing license is also revoked.

DEA got most of it's case information from the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator. They investigate suspicious, violent and unattended DEATHS! So, what does that say about this "Practitioner's" quality of care and the life expectancy of her patients? Should we re-write the DEA's definition of a drug dealer? Maybe so.
