"...The temperature of heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is the Bible, Isaiah 30:26 reads,

Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days.

Thus, heaven receives from the moon as much radiation as the earth does from the sun, and in addition seven times seven (forty nine) times as much as the earth does from the sun, or fifty times in all. The light we receive from the moon is one ten-thousandth of the light we receive from the sun, so we can ignore that. With these data we can compute the temperature of heaven: The radiation falling on heaven will heat it to the point where the heat lost by radiation is just equal to the heat received by radiation. In other words, heaven loses fifty times as much heat as the earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann fourth power law for radiation
(H/E)4 = 50

where E is the absolute temperature of the earth, 300°K (273+27). This gives H the absolute temperature of heaven, as 798° absolute (525°C).

The exact temperature of hell cannot be computed but it must be less than 444.6°C, the temperature at which brimstone or sulfur changes from a liquid to a gas. Revelations 21:8: But the fearful and unbelieving... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone." A lake of molten brimstone [sulfur] means that its temperature must be at or below the boiling point, which is 444.6°C.(Above that point, it would be a vapor, not a lake.)

We have then, temperature of heaven, 525°C. Temperature of hell, less than 445°C. Therefore heaven is hotter than hell..."

I have always enjoyed this piece, and thought I would share with you.

“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

So I see you can use Google to type in "argument that heaven isn't real". I did too, and the first 20 pages were the exact argument you posted. That original argument was the answer to a test by a chem student. So you see, I call bs that you are that educated. I think you simply copied and pasted your post. Matter of fact what you put is completely plagiarized from more than one website. Funny that it took you this long to come up with a halfway educated rebuttal. Have you ever even read a KJV Bible?

Revelations 20 speaks of the first resurrection and the 1000 year reign. Furthermore, 20:9 tells us that fire will come down from the heavens. So, heavens warming up for those who have rejected His son.

It's not completely your fault though, as many ministers preach that mawmaw has died and immediately she had been teleported to heaven.

For your reading pleasure...

Revelation 20
King James Version (KJV)
20 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 22:5
New International Version (NIV)
5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Hmmm...if you are talking about me, you did not do your research. A professor of mine, many years ago gave the class this to read. I have always found it amusing. Also, if you read the top line, that is where it came from. It is a joke. OK, maybe not for you, but for people who have a knowledge of physics, engineering, biochemistry and similar sciences would find it funny. Listen, we will never agree, and that is fine. What I think is abhorrent is people who try to push their personal beliefs on the rest of the citizenry. This is not a win, lose situation. You may believe whatever you want. However, you cannot use YOUR religion to deny rights to others. Because not all religions have the same doctrine on this debate, not granting marriage equality would be contrary to the establishment clause in the Constitution in which the Federal Government is prohibited from giving preferential treatment to one religion over another, but it does give accommodation to religion. That accommodation could be to give exemption to churches whose doctrine is contrary to same gender marriages. Would that not take care of your beliefs, or are you still going to try to convert the masses?

Its really not a matter of converting the masses to ones way of thinking or adhering to the constitution. Its a matter of normalcy. Its a matter of not indoctrinating young minds. Its a matter of keeping your sexual preferences in the bedroom instead of schools,churches,BOY SCOUT ORG.,etc.Are we discriminating against polygamists,pedophiles,farm animals or anybody elses preferrence? By your reasoning we are

If you did your research you'd also find that the student behind this original theory has since accepted Christ as his savior and work through evangelistic ministries to preach the Word. I too have had Chem 203,204, organic and micro. Does that make me smarter than you in this subject? Nope, because I personally know of someone that has never had one hour of college credit that could educate most of the professors.

Are you nuts? I posted that piece to lighten the mood here. There is also an opposing view based on the same theory. And yes, I am more educated in the subject. I tested out of 200 sciences and all of the disciplines of math needed for my degree, so I took 4 semesters of accounting for electives.

I would suggest you brush up on your vocabulary before you call someone an idiot. There is no debate with someone who cannot express themselves in a logical, articulate manner.

I have a theory i would like to share.This theory isnt something i necessarily believe or would teach as fact but only a possibility.We know from scripture that Lucifer was among the most powerful of angels.We also know that they were created to assist God in his creation.Let us now go back billions of yrs and pretend we are angels.We know God on a personal basis.We have walked and spoken with him.We know his power and glory.Now one day Lucifer comes along and starts talking trash about God.Would this be enough to get one third of all angels to rebel against an all powerful,all knowing God.Remember,these angels are probably a thousand times more intelligent than Albert Einstein.Therefore Lucifer had to have done something equally powerful in their eyes to get them to rebel.What if he tried his hand at creation?Since hes not as powerful as God,his attempts at creation were substandard.Thus we have CAVEMAN!The bible says he tried to exalt himself above God.To exalt oneself could be deeds as well as words.Just because its not mentioned in the bible doesnt mean it couldnt have happened.God doesnt mention the atoms and molecules in the bible but we know thats how he constructed the universe.He doesnt mention the planets in the solar system but we know they are there.Logically thinking Satan had to have done something powerful to persuade a third of angels to rebel.Why would he do this and why would they follow him?Two reasons.#1 jealousy of Gods plan to create mankind.#2 what better way to bring about mankinds downfall than to have him believe in evolution instead of God and creation.Why would God allow this?Two reasons.#1 He will lend no credence to satan.#2 He decided to use this to his advantage.How?Perhaps it is all about faith.
I applaud your interest in scripture, let me think about you question!!
