After reading the full story in the Herald about the young girl who died in custody it didn't suprise me. This has been a long time coming. It wasn't if it was when their system would get found out to be a safety issue. Like this young girl not everyone is not a serious offender and thye require meds but the way the system is set-up they are not capable of handling everyones medical needs. There are people released on weekends unable to obtain meds to cover them until they can get a appt with a Dr to get meds they started taking in jail for heart disease.lost records etc. Who is responsible and how do they change it before another unnecessary death happens. God Bless her family. I hope something good will come out of this tragedy.
