The sad thing is....he will do his time, get out, and do the same thing or maybe worse to another future baby in his life. I hope the little guy he hurt is now in a safe place and getting the love and attention that he needs.

How disgusting can a person be. This world is getting so scary but it does shock me that a man like this even gets the possibility of bail and yet people that have done way less don't get no bail amount set but that's our wonderful legal system.

It's time for the prosecutors and judges to step up to the plate on this guy. No plea bargains. Punish him to the fullest extent of the law. 20 years for each broken bone in this innocent child's body sounds fair. Doubt that it will happen. Probably 6 months and anger management classes.

I really have a hard time reading things like this. It seems so sad that our children, defenseless little children has to indure this type or any type of abuse from the ones that should love them the most, and protect the from harm. our children dont ask to be born, they have the choice made for them, so when "we" make the choice to have unprotected sex,or have a "band-aid baby",(thinking that havin a baby will make things better in a relationship)it works for a little while, until the child gets in the way, or daddy finds a new girl. Why are "we" not responsible enough to protect our children from this type of abuse? OH I know"let the father take care of the child while mommy works, and brings in the money" The very first time my "EX"(thats why he is an ex)showed any type of behavior like being mean to my children, they went to a babysitter, not left there and "hope" everything will be ok,until I got back. I just really dont understand a mother that lets her child in a situation like this, surely the signs are there? Where was mom? There is plenty of help out there to get for responsible childcare. Kick the jacka** to the curb mom, we need to take care of the children we bring into this world, they depend on us, not the poor excuse you choose to be the dad. Also where in the world did i ever see that if you hit a child when they are crying they will stop, hitting=hurt, hurt=crying, cryin g=getting hit more... What a F***** up plan. I'm sorry our children deserve a better life, If you cant provide protective care and love for your child, give them to someone who would LOVE to have a child, not hurt them.. Can u even think the pain this little boy was in,so we beat him some more maybe he will quit crying, thank god this child didnt die at the hand of his "father"just as he could of..Well moms are you tough enough to protsct our kids from these monsters???

WHY WHY WHY???? This guy should have called anyone and said he couldn't handle being alone with a baby. They're calling him a man?
Where are the mothers of these kids?
I'm heartsick! Precious baby in the first year of life - all those darling milestones.
A baby that's stiffening out their legs & crying like that is in distress. Did he ever think the injuries were making the child cry incessantly??? How did this child get two months worth of injuries?
Heaven help these poor doctors who have to diagnose and treat these kids. They are going to be the next large group of people with PTSD.
This is all totally nuts.

Agree, prosecute this scum bag to the fullest extent. His fellow inmates will take care of this baby beater.

The primary issue is making sure this individual never harms this or any other child ever again. To ensure that, he needs to be incarcerated for a long time. I hope the legal system doesn't drop the ball on this guy. If anything happens to him once he's behind bars, well, I guess that's a bonus.

Hopefully this child recovers, heals well, grows up fine, and then comes back years from now and goes "looking for Daddy."

Keep watching over your shoulder in about 15 years, Jeffrey.

Once your kid finds out when he's older, it will be time for you to pick out your cemetery plot.

I hope MOM kicks this shmuck to the curb. It's bad enough she let him with the newborn in the first place but it'll be even worse if she allows him back into their lives.

I hope she has support--strong support.

No words to convey such crulety. If we ever hear
this child is back with the parents than our
protective systems are no better than the actual
abuse. PLEASE keep children safe from abusive
parents. Mercersburg recently had a young child
living in disgusting conditions.
Protecting the innocent child needs to be a TOUGHER law!

WHERE IN THE BLOOMIN' H E L L was the so-called mother of this child while this was going on?
Possibly out working to support the child while HE was on his lazy backside doing Lord knows WHAT or high on whatever alcohol or drugs.
He most likely is nothing but a bag of homemade hog manure, never taught anything at his whatever place he was raised in.
I have NO sympathy even for his parents to have produced a son of this magnitude. Disown him, forget he ever existed let him ROT in prison with the rest of the same quality of scum.
IF the mother WAS present at the time of these happenings, prosecute her for NOT STOPPING this even IF she was so-called afraid of him.
A TRUE mother would face EVEN death to protect her child to NO end.
Why would it have to take Health authorities to take notice of these injuries? Didn't anyone else live there?
