The Race Card? Are you serious? First of all, I think you need to do a little research on intersectionality. Secondly, I think you need to examine your own privilege before you start telling members of oppressed groups what opportunities they've had. Come on, Lowell Sun! You're like the Weekly World News of local newspapers. Doesn't that embarrass you?

This is the most nakedly racist piece of garbage I've ever read.

I know The Sun has a low threshold for what it will print, but this mean-spirited, unsubstantiated rant is on par with a forum post, not a newspaper column.

Hilariously, it proves itself wrong, as well. Since it completely avoids the issues or his qualifications, it attacks him solely for his race, proving that race is, still, an issue.

All I can say is - I am not voting for Patrick because I believe that he is not doing this state any good, nor is he listening to the people. His skin color has nothing to do with it.

He got elected the first time because 'It was cool to vote for the black guy"
He is a typical Oreo, born to uppermiddleclass parents who used affirmative action and set asides to get where he is today. A real skip gates.
Rich Black guys crying racism diminishes the word, and makes it less likely for people to believe it when it is true.

I'm guessing that you've never heard of Deval Patrick.
Harvard Law School, Harvard College. Intersectionality? I hardly thing Patrick was oppressed.

I'd like to know how many of the 60,000 jobs he claims to have created were private sector jobs.

And I would like to know how many jobs have been lost since he became Governor. I mean really lost - like when you are no longer eligible for unemployment so they don't count you.

Just like a FACIST keep telling the same story over and over as well long enough, The people will then start believing it. Gee! Who else in the past 70+ years used that method to influence people?

What do you think intersectionality means? I'm curious and sure you don't know. Going to Harvard does not mean you have not experienced oppression. I'm going to guess that you are experiencing the same cognitive dissonance affecting a lot of old white people. Do you watch Fox news? I know it sucks that your world view is dying, but have some dignity about it.
