I think you need to understand the entire story about Hook and watch what you say because I bet if your house was burning you wouldn't have much bad to say about them.

I just want to tell you that no matter what has happened and what happened that night, the man that you guys talk so bad about is a man that has the most integrity and is the most stand up man I have ever known in my life. No matter where he has come from this man will go when he is called. I bet the people that are writing the bad things about him has never walked a mile in his shoes. When your baby isn't breathing and you need someone to go help he would drop it all and run out the door. I have never seen a man work as hard as this man to raise his family and become what he has. So next time your house is on fire or you smell gas and you call upon my brother I bet you don't think about the mistake he made. When you need someone to listen or stand up for you I bet you don't think then about the mistake he made. I bet when your kid needs someone to pull him out of a car and my brother is there to pull him out and save his life I bet you don't then think about the mistake he made. When you yourself are in trouble and need somebody to answer that call I bet then you don't think about the mistake he made. I bet your just thankful somebody cared enough to answer that call. You people that judge him have no business he will be judged when he goes before the only man that can judge him. If you want to judge or speak your mind why aren't you there to answer the calls that he does. That is one of the greatest most amazing men I've ever known. You can only hope someday that you yourself could be a man like him.

Well its nice to see tha this DRUNKs sister has to stick up for him, but the facts still stand that BRIAN HOOK broke the law, but this is nothing uncommon to the Milton Clan, You know the guys that say "were here now, all others can leave", I have been a pro firefighter in the area that still wipes Miltons aQQ as they cant do the job anyway(Scott Hicks Miltons FIRE CHIEF is BANNED by the state, He had his certs canceled by the state of Indiana for DRUG ABUSE). WE are the ones that WC calls to handle EMS calls as Milton (Drunks and Drug addicts)cant handle it. WE do not need Drunks responding to OUR calls to just hold a door open or to stand around outside and tell each other how they saved the day. So do the public a favor, STAY home, The Fire service is no place for Drunks or Druggies!

Amen, Danny! All of the good Milton firefighters are gone! In the days when Yogi was chief, all of the boys walked the line, no room for mistakes. It sure is not that way now. I am so glad that I moved out of town, there is not a firefighter on Milton Fire Department that I would want to respond to my house, except Zebelle, the rest can stay at home with their Budweisers or other drug of choice. I can handle a charged line better than they can!

I have know a few vol. firemen in my ife and they all have stories to tell of drinking and responding. But the bottom line is this, if my house is on fire, put it out even if you have to pee on it.

I wouldn't say much, if my house was on fire and the firefighters were drunk. However, I'm quite certain that my insurance company would say something, as would my lawyer.

Glad he was arrested. He definitely should have been. You can make all the excuses that you want. There is no defense. Case closed.

The town of Milton needs to address this issue. At the very least they should limit their liability, in the event that a tragedy might occur. Drunk firefighters are not a joking matter.

I think that this fireman needs to be in a rehabilitation center. He definitely has a problem.

I agree I would much rather have a drunk firefighter at my home than a child molester. And you can add thief to Jimmy Lawrence resume. Amazing are the area departments that desperiate for help?!

I hope that you can show proof. It's already proven that Milton had a drunk firefighter arrested at the scene of a fire.

He's a drunk! Actions speak louder than words. He needs rehabilitation. There are other lives that he is risking. Very dangerous! You can't depend on a drunk. An apology will not suffice. Drunks are not needed, nor wanted in public funded service. Keep drinking, drunk!
