BP faces another setback; oil slick threatens Florida

They need to set off explosives by the well which will collapse the well and seal it. This has been done many times and it works. Why won't BP and Obama use their heads?

Really, please cite examples, other than the Soviets at a natural gas well above ground.

Why a setback for B P? Obama has taken over responsibility for fixing this oil spill, so why can't he pay for it out of his stash? Oh wait, he's got his foot on the throat of B P and cannot get to his stash without letting B P up. Bummer.
