It's not a depression until people quit living beyond thier means, buying stick brick temporary nothing houses they can't afford, wasting money on bran new cars and dropping weekly 40 dollars by going out to eat. So long as parking lots are full, there is not depression.

It's sure as hell a depression in my necka the woods... But the subdivisions keep poppin up. Even if the new home owners end up moving out before they have to vacum the carpet.
