Woman killed when car flies off I-680 and onto Calaveras - Milp...

A Fremont woman was killed Sunday after her car crashed through an Interstate 680 construction project above East Calaveras Boulevard in Milpitas, the California Highway Patrol reported.

I live in Milpitas and my heart was saddened when I first drove by and seen the car. Anybody who seen this and was not affected by it surely has no heart.

my heart goes out to the family. it was unbelievable. When she came down to Calveras Blvd, it was a miracle that nobody else was hit and hurt. Everything happend very fast. The minute we found her, she was gone already and we prayed for her. Per police reports, she veered off the freeway for no apparent reason. Maybe she go distracted by her cell phone, or she was looking to stop on the shoulder but instead went into a ditch and down...she came flying down full speed. Where there any witnesses who saw the accident from 680 view? I was on Calaveras.

I saw the dust cloud go up as I was stopped at the lights. I got closer and saw people running from their cars.
I too wanted to get out, I really did, but having a weak stomach I couldn't.....but I did what I could and that was pray. I drove right by the car on the other side pancaked on its roof. I knew something terrible had happened. l I prayed that God would be merciful to whoever was in the car and receive them into His kingdom if they did not survive. Now too I pray when I pass the spot, for peace for her soul and the family during this time of great loss and grief. May you find comfort in God's embrace during these most difficult of days, and may you find strength in good memories.
I share this as one who know how it is too lose a love one in a unthinkable way.

i was there when this happened and i was drivinq with my family and her car flipped right in front of us.and we thought it was a fire cause it looked like smoke but it was dirt and it was her car coming off from the top. so we pulled over and my dad got out and went to make sure everything was okay but all he was was the womens hand and it looked like she had maybe been on the phone because her phone was in her hand and it must have been sad if she was talking on the phone because the person on the phone had to hear that and i just wanna say im sorry to her family members for their loss and may god be with them every step of the way.
