Well the Mayor and council members met with the business owners regarding the crazy electric bills that we receive. they couldn't even explain how the demand charge works, or even why businesses have it. businesses in town are hurting and even going under because of the economy, along with these crazy electric charges with the demand charge attached to them. They promised to look into this and meet with us again. If this situation keeps up, there will be boarded up store fronts in the near future
