Because Rocky refuses to let us to go one because he doesn't think it's worth while.

I live in Muskingum Cty and we are currently a code yellow, which is a level 2. My opinion of the whole idea to switch from numbers to colors is that its all about money! How many hours did it take for the "higher ups" to make this decision? I dont know how many hours it was, but I am almost positive that they weren't paid minimum wage! The change was stupid and unneccesary!

Funny about Muskingum County being a level 3. This year the sheriff decided to use a different system using codes of Green (level 1), Yellow (level 2) and Red(level 3). So technically, muskingum is under a "Red" which means: Roadway conditions have severely worsened. Inclement weather has affected the treatment and/or clearing of roadways. Roadways will remain hazardous until further notice. It is recommended that only emergency and safety crews be on the roadways.. I think the decision to make this change was so businesses won't have to close and employees don't have excuses for not coming to work. Soo Lame!

I dont get what they were talking about last night with people calling this storm the "snowpocolypse" lol, this storm was nothing compared to the 08 blizzard, we survived it. I guess it may cripple places like DC but we will survive this storm,Its not the end of the world.

And yes, they will arrest you if you are out during a level 3 and dont need to be, its always been that way.

Oh and have to add, I am in Morrow county and we are under a level 2, which is reported, I havent been out on the rd to tell if that is adequate or not. I know that we have alot more than the 9 inches they said, there is about a foot on the banisters of our deck and it has blown off of it some.

Knox county is listed as a level 3 here, a level 2 with another local station, and a 1 with the other? What is it?

Thank you so much. Every night I watch the weather of Ohio from UAE and I am sending your information to my daughter that studies at OSU to warn her since she is extremely busy studying. It is very helpful and we, the parents, really really appreciate your work and website. Thank you and God bless USA
