NO! It's right there in the Bible... "Blessed are the grasscutters for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven." - Jesus

I am still going to cut the grass tomorrow! Twice! In a different direction each time! Probably East-West first and then Northeast-Southwest for a nice diamond effect! And you kids better stay off my lawn or I'll call the cops!
How can I keep them off my beautiful yard, Nazi? The damn kids and their parents are ruinning it!

After the 21st it won't matter. You'll probably get grubs or one of the other plagues of Egypt. Trying times are ahead.

Yes, I am a Christian, yes I do believe in the rapture, yes I do believe that the Bible is the Word of God, written by man, inspired by the Holy Spirit. But I wonder what Bible these people are reading from. Jesus states quite clearly no one will be able to predict the end of the world.

Matthew 24:36 "But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

If this isn't, what in your mind is bad?
This brings up a very interesting point - Do abuses of a belief system negate the integrity of that system. I would answer no. The fact that some "Christians" did these things shows only that they did not follow the tenets of that system. It does not show that the system itself is wrong. The people that did the things you have mentioned will answer to God the same as I will and the same as you will. Please check out the actual beliefs and see for youself what makes sense and what doesn't. Thank you and God bless you in your search.

I find it really hard to understand why the media would even give this guy any coverage?
I agree. This guy, by his previous failed "prophecy" has completely disqualified himself as a Bible teacher according to Deuteronomy 18. It is possible that he will be right, but even so it would be an accident at best.

By that logic, abuses of any political system, financial system, etc. do not negate those systems either. So dictatorship is fine, usary is fine, and so on.

The basis of your justice relies on ther being a God that will judge these violators in an afterlife. So, if there is no God-they use religion to kill, rape, pillage and get away with it.

Finally, your minimization of the official role of the church is troubling. When you say "The fact that some "Christians" did..." you seem to think that it was a few radicals on the fringe. The Crusades, the Inquistion, and to a lesser extent other events, were sanctioned at the highest levels of the church.

Killing in the name of religion has been occurring for millenia. All because "the faith I have in what I can't prove, is better than yours".

Ignorance reigns on this board and my heart is deeply saddened for those of you who choose to mock God.
The Bible tells us: "The cross is foolishness to those who are perishing."
To contribute any more to this is simply casting pearls to swine.

Who is mocking God? We are mocking those who presume to know the mind of God.

When will these self proclaimed Bible scholars start to read the Bible ? God, whom I suppose that they all believe in, said that no person would know the date or the time of the start of the events leading up to the "Rapture". And therefore the planet's demise. Go figure. We as people can't solve the world's "human" problems (poverty, hunger, wars etc.). How in thew world can we even begin to believe that some "mortal" could ever tell us when events of a spiritual nature will come to pass ? What is this guy ? A radio televangelist ? He should listen to more radio and leave the spiritual things to spiritual beings (meaning his God).

JESUS told HIS followers the end of time will be unknown and only HIS father will know.So therefore all the fake prophets in the world will not be true about their predictions.Any true follower of JESUS knows this to be true and is not betrayed.

Biblical info on the rapture is located in:
Matthew 24;27==1st Thessalonians 5;2==2nd Thessalomians2;1.
This is only a description and promise that this will happen, not when it will happen.
