Why wasn't there any mention of the mercury in CFL bulbs? They call out hazmat for the slightest mercury spill, like a broken thermometer in a school or store, yet the gov't doesn't seem to care that a broken light bulb in a home is the same thing. People are going to get mercury poisoning in higher numbers, if it's not already happening.

I don't usually pick on writers, even those who are usually idiots, if they actually knew how to do anything they wouldn't be writers. Rather like politicians, lawyers, professors, get rid of most of them and the world would be a far better place. True, there will be a few incandescents still manufactured, particularly of the "designer" grade. The math dictates this will generally be a losing proposition except in truly unusual cases. No more actual every day 100 watt bulbs for a half buck. The fact that Bush signed the bill explains much about why the economy tanked under his administration, he made the same mistake as did his father, he listened to liberals. The whole bill is a blanket indictment of not IQ testing voters.

The Liberals don't want you to know about the Mercury ingredient. They want you to think how genious they are in taking care of us wether we want their care or not. This writer obviously doesn't listen to the radio hosts he is ridiculing or he would know Glenn Beck wasn't a Bush fan either.

I always wondered about the mercury ingredient. Is it George H. Bush's DNA? Only Barbra knows.
