Has anybody in this little soap opera bothered to 1) call the FBI or 2) call Homeland Security or 3) contact the State Attorney General with a possible complaint of "filing a false government document" or mail fraud or 4) filing a Freedom of Information request with Federal, state or local authorities with regard to the license numbers? Forget the privacy violations (which are egregious enough) and focus on the breaking of criminal laws like 1) filing of false government documents or 2) mail fraud or 3) interference with interstate commerce (since they followed her into another state). And if there's a connection with any governmental agency, there's always 42 USC 1983-1986 (look it up, it's a giant killer). Time to stop whining and hand-wringing and start DOING something. Get a GRIP!

"Each type of person and belief system is necessary to the integrity of the whole world community. THe key is to be nice and accepting of people. Once people are not nice and accepting of others they are malignant. We've got this crazy war in Iraq going on"
In one sentence you want us to be nice and the next you blame the war... maybe you should sit down with the families of the people Saddam Husain tortured and brutelized, to see what playing "nice is"... but I guess that depends on you to decide who is worth saving!

No, Jovan. Just the media favors the left. The American people are (and always have been)much more conservative. Although I must admit that the media is finding it easier to brainwash those who generate their politics based on TV, movies and popular music. Read something not required by some leftist professor? Just doesn't happen. It's OK though. The Dixie Chicks will get your opinions right for you.
Give me ONE American media outlet that has been critical of the Bush regime since 2003. Give me ONE American media outlet that has been reporting about reproductive health in their health reports since the Global Gag Rule was re-instated. Give me one media outlet that has endorsed Democrats by huge numbers since 2002.

Doug, you are the one who needs a reality check. I KNOW that the media is ultra-conservative now, except for blogs and alternative news.

It may be against the law to spy on Americans, but it happened. Had it not been for the New York Times, the ONLY newspaper that is actually doing the job it is supposed to do, ALL of us would have been spied on -- and anyone who disagrees with Bush would be subpoenaed. Hey neocon dummies, why else is San Francisco-based AT&T in court right now?

For the good of this nation, VOTE LIBERAL. If you want the USA to become the Iran of the Western Hemisphere, then VOTE CONSERVATIVE.

Flynn claims that there were three vehicles following her and that at one point she slowed down and one of them pulled up beside her. She further claims that after gesturing to the men inside that vehicle they supposedly threw up their arms as if to say 'We're only doing what we're told'. How does she know that's what they meant? Perhaps they meant they didn't have any idea what she was "gesturing" at them.

Later, she claims that two men were in one car outside her house and they both had laptops. Does this mean that they were holding these laptops out the windows of their car so she could see them and see that they were writing something about her on them? That would indeed be odd since most people use a laptop in their "LAP". If they werenít holding them outside the car then where were they and how did this poor woman in a panic find the nerve to get so close to their vehicle that she could tell they were holding laptops?

Finally, why did it take her nearly 3 years to remember that sheíd given the ONLY copy of that license number to a civil liberties attorney she called when she was so panicked? Itís a shame she didnít get panicked enough to call the police and give it to them. Itís a shame her civil liberties lawyer didnít advise her to call the police.

Face it folks, this lady is nothing but a fear-mongering rabble-rouser and liar. Sheís trying to draw attention to herself and her cause by claiming she's a victim of some black helicopter conspiracy tale to silence her and other liberal activists when in fact this is nothing but blatant political propaganda. Rocco Parascandola and Newsday are as guilty for promoting it as she is for authoring these ridiculous false claims.

The jokes on you Jovan Byars because "IF" there's any truth to her tale at all it was probably reporters from the NYT in those very scary cars.

Attention Jovan Byars:

This message is from a secret organization made up of John Kerry, Al Gore, Al Franken, Ted Kennedy, a few of the Muppets, and that guy from the Subway commercials.

No one else can read this message. ONLY YOU CAN DECIPHER THE CODE!

We need your help! We discovered the real agenda of the Bush regime, which has dire consequences for the entire world! King Bush found out about us and has taken us captive in the dungeons of the White House and has been illegally torturing us and is trying to illegally brainwash us, illegally!

We need your help to escape! Please, go to Hillary and communicate this information to him, er, we mean her. She will know what to do! Tell no one else of your mission. Trust no one. The neocons have been following you, and know who you are!

Much thanks from a grateful country (Iran),

not a rabble rouser? this woman has been arrested more than 50 times for committing crimes in the name of protest. maybe that gives the cops the right to follow her to ensure her crimes won't continue to disrupt the city we live in. get your reporting straight newsday.

Congrats to her for getting noticed, say I! I've been slamming away on the dinosaur's tail for years now... haven't even gotten a threatening phone call lately. I must not be dong the right thing yet.

'Cause that's one way that you know you're being really effective - you get some pushback. Properly understood, getting tailed by the gummint is in fact a high compliment. "You scare us," is what it says. "You're a threat to our power."

I don't fear the government as it is as much as if a libtard were in control of it. If I were prez I would get rid of most of it. Of course a lot of government workers(democrats) would have to get REAL jobs so that we can get rid of their ineptitude. With a libtard, watch the government grow. And who exactly wants a fascist-socialist libtard in control of the Patriot Act? God forbid! Did I say God? Sorry, godhaters, HE is as real as you are unreal.

#15, that's exactly what I'd do.

Some of the other suggestions here have been childish. This isn't a movie and you're not going to "burn" them into leaving you alone.

What I'd do is take photos and keep a log of their activities. Just a simple one detailing the dates that they're there. I also have a 300mm zoom lens on my dSLR so I'd take photos of the car, its occupants, and the license plate.

After a couple of days when it's a clearly suspicious vehicle by police standards, call the local cops. Tell them there's a suspicious vehicle parked on the street and it's been there for days. I don't know how that would play out once the (most likely federal) agents in the car explain the situation to the local cops, but at least you can say you reported the incident.

Then you've done your due diligence AND made this a matter of public record (by calling the local police). Also, don't forget to post the pictures along with details of the incident to a public website/forum so it becomes publicly known.

That's pretty much all you can do in that situation. The Feds are legally (nor not) observing you and you can't stop them. At least you can let the public know about their activities.

Hey, you need to stay informed. No wonder why so many young conservatives hate the 11th grade. They now must be taught REAL history and that kind of history -- predictibly so -- favors liberalism.

Anytime someone is following you (or in this harassing you) - especially after what was done to confirm that a tag is in effect - get into an accident with the vehicle following. Just a fender bender will do - nothing extreme. All accidents have to be reported and an investigation initiated - even if it involves government or law enforcement vehicles. If the ones following leave before the police arrive also make sure that a hit-and-run report is also filed. That'll speed things up. The accident will produce an official record of your suspicions.

EBOLA is not a retrovirus, it is a filovirus, and no retrovirus does NOT mean a species jumping virus. That word is zoonic. Reasons African American women are more likely to become infected are:
1. Women are physically more likely to become infected with a disease from intercourse. White black or purple they are simply more at risk.
2. Not to seem biased but more African American women sleep with more than one guy compared with other ethnicities, This is not to say that this is every black women I am pertaining to. Don't take offense, I'm black also and it is the truth.
