Good for you Millbrook. Maybe the drunks will stay off the street no matter what direction they came from. Dont play with Millbrook or you will get hounded. They are just doing their jobs.

Maybe you can answer something. Why in Millbrook, do you see the officers late at night seem to be working alot (i know i have been stopped many times) and during the days the officers look like they're just there to be seen ?

It seems to me that they have their work ethics in tack. I myself do not go out that late at night, but that group of guys on the night shift needs a hand shake, most people dont see what they do at night. Thinking that maybe they dont work at all, but Im glad to know that they do from a person in Prattville. Day time is a different situation. Maybe we should track these guys down on day shift and see what they really do! Call the Chief and see what he has to say. Anon are you from Millbrook or live here?

It is great they are getting DUI drivers off the road.
They need to monitor their own. They have an employee that has broken a pretrial diversion for DUI working for them now. They need to address the things going on in their own house.

I live in Millbrook, for some reason topix puts me as being in Prattville. Must me something with my ISP. I'd be curious to know who this is with the DUI. I'm greatful for thier service, but at the same time I believe they should be held to a little higher standard than allowing one of their own to be like that.

Anon, mine say Equality. I dont know what it is. I am curious also. Anon, do you know any of the officers there and was wondering who will be the asst chief? Maybe Billy Brown when he gets out? Sorry I should not have said that. Jokingly. I have been in Millbrook for 40 yrs and I see the same ole stuff. Some of the older officers, being in years there I am familiar with, why arent they in the spotlight for the good that they do. Pk Johnson made it to Chief, Fields, Gray, Pugh, Strickland, Evans to name a few. There is not that many of them.

I have had the opportunity to meet a few of the night shift guys. Like I said in a previous post, I've been stopped a few times coming in from work late at night and I've chatted with a few at the store on 14 a few times. The only memorable ones I cane remember are the 2 guys from New Orleans and the Autauga deputy who was in a bad car crash a while ago. In my conversations with them they all seem to be on thier p's & q's.

I thought the statement you made about Billy Brown was funny. But what is so frightening is that he might just walk away with it and just apply for another police job.

And do you really think that would work? I do not want to look bad, but is that public information?

Depending on what you're looking for goto the media, or if it is public info the police SHOULD release it.
