I would love to talk with people that frequented the Lynnwood Tavern in the late sixties and early seventies. I worked for Marco Courounes first and then I managed for Ileen Fitzjarold.

I live out of state and think the tavern has been demolished for near on thirty years. I have a lot of fond memories of my days there and of the many wonderful and generous regulars that we had. SS

The Lynnwood Tavern ::sigh::

Between that place, the Casino Tavern, and Hewitt Avenue it is just fortunate that any of us made it this long!

I didn't frequent the Tavern, being 5 or 6 at the time, but I remember you, Suzy, as well as Ileen and "uncle" Marco ... You worked with my mother, Maribeth. I remember being in there while it was closed for a meeting and seeing a video game for the first time -- Pong. The building was taken down in the mid or late 80s.

Cheers.

I moved to Seattle in 1980 (still live here)
always had a blast at the LT. Other places at the time were Astor Park (under the monorail) and the Aquarius/Parkers.

Had tons of fun at the old LT in the mid to late 70's. Last time I was there was in 1980. They tore it down shortly after.A group of us would go to Asia [easy] Gardens then on to the LT. Danced till it closed.Joey and Don the house band at the time. My friends and I also wonder how we survived those days. Way too much fun.
