I WAS BORN IN 1946 AND GREW UP IN HAWAII WHEN THESE TYPE OF CRIMES WERE UNHEARD OF, WHEN LOCKING YOUR HOME MEANT YOU WERE NOT GOING TO BE HOME FOR AWHILE. THEN PAKALOLO STARTED,AND NOW ICE AND OTHER HARD CORE DRUGS HAVE ENTERED. I AM AFRAID WE HAVE LOST PART OF THE NEXT GENERATION TO THIS EPEDEMIC AND IT HAS THREATHEN OUR EVERYDAY LIVES FOREVER. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO RESPECT FOR OUR ELDERLY KAPUNA AND LOCAL OHANA AND SHOULD BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY.

It's a nice neighborhood but the Crackheads have taken over the Island and nobody is safe. HPD reports at least 20 home invasions a night on Oahu!!!! Nice safe place to vacation, HUH?????

Who needs to go abroad to fight terrorism? We are faced with a constant stream of career criminals that are released over and over again from our "justice" system. Is anybody getting tired of reading the amount of convictions these thugs have? Is anybody questioning why we are being subjected to these criminals who should be incarcerated? Where is the justice?

Crack is not a drug that is used much anymore. The drugs of choice now are crystal methamphetamine (ice), heroin, marijuana and prescription pain killers oxycodone, oxycontin, hydrocodone. The onset of legal prescription pain killers probably stems from the increase in enforcement. Personally I think that they are the greatest because you can get 100 from your doctor every month for only $5 what a great deal. SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER than going to your neighborhood drug dealer.

Do you really think these thugs would care at all if their parents or family members were given the same treatment they caused for these senior citizens. NO! of course not, if they had any respect for anyone, they would have not done this kind of thing in the first place.
Just have them killed, plain and simple. Do you think a stay OCCC or Halawa would make a difference? All that is gonna do is let them see their friends on a daily basis instead of just once a week.
