this is the guy that wants people arrested for DUI, supports the efforts and wants to install breath sniffers to get cars started for people arrested for DUI........

except that... when he is arrested.. all of a sudden "The initial device police officers use in measuring the blood-alcohol content is not reliable"

Hey...I REALLY like this tactic! I rarely drink and have never been pulled over for DUI, However, I do get very red if/whenever I have anything alcohol to drink . I WILL remember to drop my eyeglasses under the car seat (they fell and I had trouble reaching for them) and refuse to take the field sobriety or any addition tests if I ever have the misfortune of being stopped by the police. THANKS for the tips!

How ironic. The Senator who was promoting a Breathalyzer interlock for the cars of convicted drunk drivers, now claims that the devices are not accurate.

Come on Ron, play by the rules that everyone else does. First of all, you are a lawyer and are aware of the laws concerning DUI. If you have a problem with your contacts, get it fixed IMMEDIATELY and don't drive until it is resolved. Your fractured left foot is okay, I have seen you walking and you look fine to me. You and the general public are very lucky that no one was killed or seriously hurt due to you being intoxicated. And last but not least, practice what you preach, if you drink, DON'T DRIVE. Catch a cab. You need to be a better example to your family and your constituents.
