Most translations? "Born again" is the translation of choice for the KJV, NKJV, NLT, NIV, ESV, NASB, and WEB (though footnotes in the NLT, NIV, and ESV note the ambiguity). "Born anew" is in the RSB, ASV, DBY, and HNV . "Born from above" is in the YNG. In any case, however you translate it, the meaning is still the same.

Furthermore, you seem to believe that no one ever converts to Catholicism ("we are baptized as infants..."), which displays an even greater ignorance.

Finally, I never said I was (or was not) Christian. See how your ignorance (and speculation) keep getting in the way?

Fred Larson needs to face reality. Illegal vacation rentals and B&B hotels are major issues for not only Kailua, but the entire Island. The Kailua Neighborhood Board is an elected body and as an elected body, they represent the residents of Kailua. If he doesn't like their position or policies, than he should run for the board. Until then, he should quit his whining.

We all lose with illegal B & B's. None of them pay their taxes and the taxpayers are left to pick up the slack.
Just start figuring how many are in your neighborhood and start figuring how much local, county and state, and sales taxes we are losing.
Many are owners that live on the mainland and thus,their money, goes there and not here.
They don't pay for a business license nor a tax license. They don't pay taxes deemed for a business. Just mulitple that with the number of illegal ran B & B's you can see how much Hawaii is losing.
It's not just them operating illegally, they are stealing from the very community they deem to do business in.
No one is a winner here.

You need to be a little more open minded about the state of affairs going on here.
You say the middle class is waning, well, that is all part of the plan. I don't think you have one iota of an idea what is really going on here.

This WH and the radicals in office now are following the Rules for Radicals. They tell the people what they want to hear. Thus we are becoming, instead of America the land of the Free, we are becoming America land of the Freeloaders. They will tell you they are from the middle class, they then get elected and then they eliminate the middle class. Open your eyes.
They are giving this country away. They are Marxist, and Socialist and they want to bring us to our knees.
First step, free health care for all, then they will start on education, then living space, mass public transportation, Hince the rail,
a guaranteed annual income, a series of giant space research programs, thus were are going to the moon again, the threat of gross pollution, thus the big drive to convince us we are destroying the world, just been proven wrong, limited procreation, possibly by the water supply, which we now have a czar that totally believes in that. Finally a social welfare program.
Any of this ring a bell? Well, it should, it is happening as I write this now.

This President spoke time and again while running that he surrounds himself with like minded people. Check his cronies out.
He promised us transparency, haven't seen one moment of this.
He promised us bi-partisism, not in this life time.
He promised us exposure to it all on CSpan, haven't seen a minute there, have you? He promised us all bills would be put on the net for 5 days, yeah, right.
He promised us no more pork barrel, no more lobbyist, no more secrecy, Out and out lie. He promised us when there was a meeting of him and corporations, and what they would benefit from, it would be put online. Not once has that happened.
He is trying to rush through a bill that will bring this country to it's knees. They want it to fail and it will. They are devaluing the dollar daily. How's that retirement fund working out for you?
I just wonder how all this is going to be paid for, when the hard working middle class decide to toss in the towel and quit working?

This is all documented on line in his own words and the words of his close cronies. Just go to the little website that people can watch their videos and start putting in different subjects. It is all there. No far right agenda here. I am not a Republican, I vote on both sides.

Today, I just watched a video and in 1 min and 47 seconds 7 lies were told. You need to wake up and do some homework on your own and stop listening to others.
