"He is an authentic person who is dedicated to the people. He's not in it for himself. He's in it for us. He's in it to change America," Praeli said. "That's the kind of leader I want, and that's the kind of leader I want to grow up to be."

Good for her to be politically active regardless of the candidate. To many of us have become complacent.

Gotta love how one sided the NT reporting is. This bird cage liner really takes a liberal slant!

This young lady should be proud of her efforts. However, be carefull what you wish for. In my book change does not mean electing someone named Barrack Hussein Obama.......after 9/11 I am very cautious. Sen Obama was educated in a muslam school in Indonesia. I for one am having trouble getting past that. Maybe someone with more experience is a better choice. Give Sen Obama time to prove himself.

I am sure the News Times is planning a story to cover a young person working on a Republican Campaign.
Yeah, right.

I dont think the young Rush's of the world ahve to worry. No black or woman will be president. Unfortunetly, we live in a sexist and racist society. No one says it publically, but privately, many people are not ready to give up their white capes. Its sad but true.

Are you kidding, Mr./Ms. What? The Dem nominee is guaranteed to win, whoever it is. Remember back in the Olden Days when Bill Clinton won the first time? Remember how happy everyone (except me) was? Change! Everyone wanted change! Today is the same. In 2006 the voters mandated change--did we get it? Nope.

I applaud this young lady's passion. Too few people her age vote, let alone do the study and research needed to make a well-founded vote. It's just too bad she's not a McCainiac!

Ms. Praeli, do some research on McCain, and let us know what you think.

Good for the girl for at least DOING something. Thats more than most of us and we know it. Although, it seems to me politics in this day and age are a waste of energy. He is a politician like the rest of them regardless of party. They ALL are useless. They do for themselves and their friends.. constituants be Dam!@d!
As for the NT being slanted, they fit in with the rest of the rags that are out there. YOU have to be smart enough to see through them and recognize which direction the slant is and use that info to make a desicion based on your own beliefs.

I agree people want change, but Hilary and Obama are the worst thing that the Dems can do to shoot themselves in the foot. If it were Edwards I would worry. This country is not ready for a woman or black. To make it clear, I would vote for a woman or black or a black woman, but not these two. The opinion of Republicans is so low now, I cannot believe that the Dems are running 2 such controversial candidates. If they ran a safe, quiet guy, he'd win easily. By the way, I have no agenda and personaly despise politicians. I am just speaking as an outsider. And its only my opinion, which I know doesnt mean a thing.

Excellent point. Is it any wonder the NT is less and less relevant by the day?

Does anyone really think that Obama has the experience to be the leader of the most powerful country on earth? He never ran any city, state or business nor does he know much about foriegn affairs. I greatly admire his desire to change Washington but fear that he may not be able to keep most of his promises.

This paper su cks sooo bad...almost as bad as the New York Times. Slanted leftist traitor rag.
The only reason I read this paper is for the local news, and to laugh at the police blotter.
Im glad the paper is online, because I always felt guilty paying for a paper I wouldnt wipe my arse with.
Have a nice day traitor swine!!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING? How racist to connect his name, his muslim (not muslam)schooling and 9/11. Get past it, or live in fear for the rest of your life
