Ok let's assume for the sake of this conversation he exists and is what you believe him to be. He is then all powerful right? You do not think that is just a wee bit cruel to watch you struggle in pain when he simply will your knees to be healed?? He may be using you to teach someone else a lesson?? At your expense? Please explain the love in this to me Karen.
I know you don't understand it, but I do. Jesus loves me and I know he does, but if he healed my knees, that would be a miracle beyond miracles for myself and many in my life. He does give me days to where the pain is not so severe and I am grateful for that. We are to follow him by faith, not by sight. What matters is that one day I will be able to walk without this pain in my knees, and I am willing to wait on that day. I will not hate him, or tell others that he is mean and cruel because he will not heal me. We live in a world where there is going to be pain and suffering, but as the bible says, one day there will be no more pain and no more tears. I will wait for that day, if its Jesus will for me to do so.

It is easy to stand back and criticize. But to live by the spirit yourself might be a task you want to focus on instead.

Ok Karen, so 20 years ago when we were both Witnesses, you would have thought that we both understood it completely. Then when I left in 91 you would have thought I lost my understanding. Then you left the witnesses and suddenly you did not understand it all those years but now you do. And I never understood it then or now. Do you realize how deluded that sounds?
By the way, you said you don't tell others God is cruel. You didn't say you don't believe he is. Do you? And are you afraid he will send you to he'll of you voice your opinion against him. Go ahead and get defensive and tell me I don't understand. Go tell me I follow the ways of the WT which I left in 91 and know is a cult. Evade my direct questions. You're not hurting me.

What questions did I not answer? I thought I responded to your thoughts?

As a witness, I was blinded to the truth of many things. Now that the Holy Spirit has brought me out of that into the light, I can see things more clearly without the blinding teaching of men. All I know is what the bible tells me, it tells me that Jesus loves me. I do not belive that God is cruel, it is not God who hurts us, but we are the ones who hurt ourselves. God wants all of us to come to him for salvation.
I have no idea who you follow, I don't think its the WT, or the organization of Jehovahs witnesses. I hope you follow Jesus Christ.
Do you understand about God and his love for all of us? Do you understand what Jesus went through so that we could have eternal life? Do you understand that I don't feel bad or blame God for my knees?
I have no desire to hurt you, why would you think I would?

So if i'm understanding the thought's being presented here are accurate. The people who are Catholic, should own the church they are worshipping in, right?...The Mormon worshipper should own the ward/church they are worshipping in...The Baptist should own the church they are worshipping in...You see how ridiculous the statements are here. Why should the J W own the K H they are worshipping in. All worship type property becomes owned by the mother church. Hence the catholic church if it sells the building will retain the money in their treasury for further expansion where they deem necessary...We do have private church groups like Graham, and all those southern Pentecostal/ Baptist groups that have large auditoriums to fill with their believers, but as a whole, the people have no say as to who gets the money if a CHURCH ..K H is Sold.
The "mother church" does not own our church building. I actually do not know what would happen if our church were to be sold, where the money would go, so I am going to ask about this. I do know our church is paid for, so there are currently no payments being made on it, but we are adding a new additions so money is needed for that. The difference is, our church will make the payments to whatever place we get the loan from, and once it is paid for, it will be done and over with. No more payments and we will own the new addition as well. With the KH, you never get done paying the payments, and it never belongs to the members of the church.

You said something that I don't understand....

"We do have private church groups like Graham, and all those southern Pentecostal/ Baptist groups that have large auditoriums to fill with their believers'

Isn't that what is suppose to happen, aren't the Preachers suppose to fill the auditoriums, churches, or whatever they call their meeting places, with believer and those who are seeking God? And they arent private, anyone is allowed to enter.:)

Just because true Christian witness claims he's a witness doesn't make him one. Witnesses get a bad name a lot of times from ignorance or even some witnesses that don't fully understand what there talking about. There is arrogance from some in all religion. I believe witnesses have the word of god because they practice what they preach and back everything they say by the bible. There is imperfections with everyone. We are imperfect humans. To me I feel that they make the most sense despite some of there controversial beliefs. If explained properly using the bible they make perfect sense. Jesus himself said that you will be persecuted for believing in him and to go out in the ministry spreading the word. Who else is more persecuted and goes door to door spreading the word. Why don't other religions follow everything the bible says and just pick and choose what they want. If you have questions visit the new hall and ask an elder of the congregation.

JWs are NOT persecuted. People being irritated at being disturbed by unwelcome religious literature peddlers is NOT persecution.

Also, you need to remember the JW teaching about other religions that even one drop of poison makes an entire glass of water unfit to drink, and apply it to them. Therefore, just as the JWs say about OTHER religions, if even ONE member of that religion indulges in evil practices, then that PROVES that that religion is false.

Therefore, according to their own teachings, the JW religion is false because there are evil people within it. You can't condemn other religions for having imperfect members who commit evil acts while giving a free pass to JWs who have imperfect members who commit evil acts.

JWs are just as false as the other religions they condemn, going by their OWN criteria.

How can you say "witnesses have the word of god because they practice what they preach and back everything they say by the bible."?

They change what they preach throughout the years; does God's Word change? They cannot back up everything they say with the Bible; the ebook, Carnival Mirrors by Patricia Lyon, showed that in very easy-to-understand words. Why would anyone continue to follow a group that lies to its own people, and those people, in turn, take the lies to outsiders because no one outside the GB knows the truth of the material printed? Why do you still support such an organization?

This is not an imperfection; it is sin! It is deliberate distortion of the truth, and its purpose is to mislead.

They make the most sense? How can they use the command to not eat blood (having to do with the digestive system) and apply it to a transfusion (having to do with the circulatory system)? You said it would make perfect sense to explain it properly using the bible. Would you please explain it? And after you have explained it, please then tell us why it has been changed from the time of CT Russell (who didn't say anything against blood transfusions) to today, when the GB allows certain blood products to be transfused. God's Word doesn't change in its moral principles, so why does the GB change it, while demanding that all follow the "error truth" as well as the "corrected error truth"?
