i have seen 2 cougars in michigan. the first was in gladwin michigan in 1989. it was on the sugar river it was black and it was not a large house cat. the second was last year. it crossed milford road from the coyote golf course. it was around in the late morning. this one was more tan. again not a house cat and not a coyote
