when i am on my deathbed, the last thing i want to hear is somebody praying over me. i prefer to leave this life (the only life there is) peacefully.

It's comforting to think there is a god who can save a loved one when the dr says it's hopeless. However, there isn't a god, and to demand medical treatment for a terminal patient is not only wishful thinking, it's a waste of our precious medical resources.
