I am completely opposed to casinos in Metrowest or any other part of the state. Please tell me how this will help encourage the graduates from our world-class educational institutions or the skilled employees from recent layoffs to stay in our state, rather than leave for better jobs in other regions. We need to encourage entrepreneurs who will create high-quality, high-paying jobs here. Frankly, we don't need to create jobs for bartenders or black-jack dealers.

jobs are jobs-=--NOT EVERYONE in the state graduates from -expensive universaties. NOT saying we don't need jobs for the higher educated--saying we need jobs for the working class people also, and if bartenders-and dealers(blackjack) are whats available the by all means bring on the casinos. It will save me time and money by not running down to Conn. every time I feel the urge. And it says your from franklin Ma. well we are west of the conn river BUT WE STILL HAVE A SAY (don't we)

Regardless to say whether right or wrong, people will always do some level of gambling. They will go to Conn., Atlantic City or Reno/Vegas.
We might as well keep some of that money in our state. It's only a matter of time before NH puts one up close to our border, maybe Seabrook, for example.
Like the other poster said it well; not everyone graduates from college these days. In fact with the cost of a college tuition skyrocketing, even middle class kids are a having a tough time. Prime example is just what happened in Westford last week.
