There is one in Arlington and one in Milburn. I like when people bitch about high prices at conveniance stores, it's not Walmart, get over it. I've known David along time, he is a pretty good guy...IMO.

I've known David and Tammy Elliott all of my life (22 years). They are very nice people and would do anything for you. Definitely not greedy to the dumb ass who said they were. I don't understand how you people think the prices are very high either. A pack of Marlboro Black's are right around 3.50 and they are damn near 5.50 at Hucks. 2 dollar difference (With that 2 dollars you save you already have over half the money to get another pack of smokes the next day. Dasani water at D&D's is 1.16 and is around 1.75 at Hucks. I'm not really sure about the gas prices at each one of them at the moment but it doesn't matter because all gas is too high. They also offer hot food at an affordable price. They own 2 out of the 4 convenient stores in Carlisle County (Mott's is a gas/service station). Many of the businesses in Carlisle don't make money and are forced to shut down however D&D's has managed to stay open for almost 20 years. It may not be the nicest looking store in the world but without them the citizens of Milburn and Arlington would have to drive all the way to Bardwell or Cunningham. Every early morning the working men gather in the 2 stores for breakfast before work. You people need to stop hating and support your local businesses, we don't have much in Carlisle County but we should be thankful for what we do have. At least your money doesn't go into the hands of extremely rich entrepreneurs who own chains of nationwide businesses. David's not rich, he's just your average local man who earns his income by serving the citizens of Carlisle and whoever may drive through. What if all of our local businesses closed? We'd have to drive all the way to Paducah for gas, insurance, groceries, everything. It would be a pain in the ass. So stop bitching about everything and look at it in a positive perspective.
