Who will win? Heard Stevie Ray say that Chris Crider, Paul Spain, and Keith Beard were in the hat. Don Farmer picked up form, but hasn't returned. So let's debate. Chris Crider previous work experience, local bank & politician......... Paul Spain, ag sales?......... Keith Beard, body shop. Just curious who has the lead.

It's our police force, not are police force. I don't think your advice should be trusted if you don't know the difference. Also, I believe Mr. Beard sells cars instead of saling them. Sounds like you don't know the candidates or the language you filthy animal.

I wonder how much the city of Milan is wasting on lawsuits. Isn't this public information? Maybe I will go ask. Those nice people in city hall will show me won't they?

"Waste" is someone who gets on a useless website and runs down a group of men who are trying to improve the looks of your city in 100 degree weather. Cell phones can be used to keep an eye on threatening weather or communicate with other employees at another location. Waste is someone who could be thankful for the efforts of those men instead of making assumptions and negative comments about them.

Paul Spain will be the man to beat in the election and I believe he will defeat Crider. Keith Beard doesn't have broad enough support and is rather a rebel. Don Farmer is a has been big time. Crider has done a lot of good and has some things in the cooker that will eventually pay off for Milan, but I think his negatives from the lawsuits and all the other early mis-steps will doom his re-election. Paul's the man! Go to his Facebook page, like him , and see how many are already publically on his team!

Don Farmer, if he runs no one knows as of now, will be my choice. Don is a good man, great for this town, does more for this town, kids, business, etc.,for free than most citizens in milan have done for pay. Don has always been there for Milan he loves this city, and the people in it. He should have never been taken out of office, and milan probably would not be in this shape my opinion, which the last time I checked was still a right.

I agree the city has way too many employees and most of them are not trained in their field. Look at the public works department. Not a one there that has any kind of experience other than mow and patch junk. Go to the park, it looks dirty. Saw people riding two in a truck doing nothing. Cell phones are the biggest job waster in the world. City is going down hill in my opinion. I think cut the employees in half and start over. From the top down. Milan don't even need a building/zoning person full time. No one is developing. Maybe one or two things a year. This should be part time job or on the shoulders of public works or mayor. Public works has enough people to take car of the park too. Let's see some action people. Trim the fat.
