If you believe we are beginning an economic recovery, than Mr. Hallett you must step outside of your democrat bubble.

People are still losing jobs, losing unemployment benefits, losing homes, losing businesses. Facts remain. No partisan spin from your pulpit will twist the reality of children of jobless parents, jobless men and women going door to door asking for work, frightened neighbors losing their life savings, or desperation suicides increasing in our community.

Bury your head in the political party laps but stop toying with people about the reality of FAILED economic policies of the last four years. YOUR man has failed. Maybe, just maybe if Mr and Mrs Strickland did their own dishes, lawn, and house work they might understand the working persons plight in OHIO!

Just the Facts.

Let me clue you in on a little secret, pal. Governors have virtually no control over economic conditions in their states. Strickland, Kasich -- doesnt matter. The folks at the Buckeye Policy Institute or whoever those clowns are lie to you. Ohio and the entire Rust Belt is subject to global economic forces that have left us behind as a manufacturing center, and that aint gonna change because you elect a new governor.(If political views are really the cause of state job losses, how come Midwestern states with GOP governors have double digit unemployment too?)

Typical Hallet wanna be response. Just the Facts. Ohio sits on some of the largest source of energy. CLEAN COAL. Ohio sits on the Great Lake Erie, and the mighty Ohio river. We possess the greatest University in our nation and possibly the world. We are the inventors and creators of our world, IF the democrat and social engineers get out of the way of business and innovation! Strickland is a FAILED political hack. His record is a matter of public record.

Yet, radical liberals and their ANTI-JOB agenda REFUSE to EVEN explore the possibility of CLEAN COAL, Green Wind enegy on Lake Erie, and Hydro-power along the Great Ohio River. DEAD END political loyalties result in FAILED economic initiative, FAILED job growth, FAILED creative innovation and solutions to our current economic plight.

Ohio glorious past is NOT behind us. We are an extremely diverse, exceptional, creative people of OHIO. We have the God Given resource under our feet to LEAD our nation out of this abysmal economic depression we find ourselves. Ohio future is BRIGHT for those who wish to confront the FACTS of Truth.

Once again, Joe Hallett and the Cow-lame-bus Dispatch doing their best to make their front man for the Republican Crime Syndicate, Jon Lehman Kasich, look good.

I guess Joe doesn't have any children, or they've all grown up and left the house, otherwise, he'd remember that it takes far longer to clean up a mess than it does to make it.

After decades of misrule during the Republican Reign Of Error, it's going to take some time to clean up the mess they made.

If Hallett and the rest of the corporate media had the courage to ignore the GOP media mavens instead of slavishly writing every word of hate-filled bile they spew, we'd be a whole lot further along.

It's time to tell the GOP to STFU and that can only start when influential people like Joe Hallett grow a spine and ignore their idiotic rants and start focusing on the hard working men and women cleaning up the GOP's mess.

For all your verbage, the economy was expanding while under Republican control.
2007 we voted for Democrat leaders for our economy.
In 4 short years of Democrat Leadership and Control,
the bottom fell out for ALL workers and
All the Dems horses nor all the Dems elected Reps
could not put our economy back again.

Just the Facts, with a little poetry to boot. lol

Wouldn't it be nice if the media focused on what matters?
How many stories has Joe Hallett written about Ohio's job recovery doing better than was projected this year? None.

How many articles has he blasted John Kasich for an utter lack of a plan like he did of Strickland in 2006 (even though Strickland had announced most of his plans by now, including with budget figures?)

Did Hallett mention Strickland's bridging the agricultural community with the animal rights community to work out their differences?

How about the green jobs revolution in Ohio?

Nope, Joe Hallett spends a column blasting people who Tweet. Even though Joel Hallett's entire journalism career has been defined by "propagandists" he calls "sources" pushing stories on him.

At least now these sources are more transparent by putting their spin on the Internet for all to see.

Speaking of facts, there was no election in 2007.

And the Republicans still controlled the White House until 2009. The economy under Republican rule hardly was stellar. Ohio lost 200,000 under all Republican rule while the rest of the nation prospered.

In the 20th century, the country enjoyed 14% more growth under democratic Presidents than it did under republitards.

Just a pesky little fact for you to chew on, zippy.

THat ill informed political novice also doesn't know, apparently, that the recession started in December, 2007, not under Obama who took office in 09. Once again, republitards trying to re-write history. It would be funny if it were'nt so pathetic.

Clean Coal is a farce. But exactly which "radical liberals" are opposing wind energy on the Lake? News to me. Every major environmental organization in Ohio strongly supports it.

It's past time to stop pretending the Republican Party is a viable political party and it is time to acknowledge the damage of their policies in office and their hate speech when they're out of power. They should be shut down as a criminal enterprise under RICO.

The Dems only believe in upholding the law for black and brown people.
The constitution is only about their members.
This is criminal enterprising...See the DOJ...
