I as a student accepted all the responsibilities that were mine to take. I was told throughout the program that I was on track to graduate in December of last year and was not told otherwise until two months before graduation. Those of us who would have transferred after we found out our advisor lied to us about where we stood couldn't transfer because you have to have a certain number of credit hours at the end of your degree program at the institution you are graduating from. Believe me when I say we would have all transferred if that had been an option.<quoted text>
Thats simply untrue. Students should accept their responsibilities.
Our advisor gave so many people false information that she was actually removed from our program at the end of last summer. The president of Midway resigned effective immediately right before graduation this year and it just so happened to be two weeks before they were supposed to go in front of the accreditation board for re-accreditation.
Midway is a joke. This is something I have heard college wide, not just from the teacher education program.
