Buyer's remorse now setting in at checkout

Penny-pinching Americans are getting cold feet at the checkout -- thinking twice about spending, and ditching items before they're rung up.

And the recent news is that the recession is ending or over! Whom is trying to polish a turd? The economists need to get a clue, the recession will not be over until the consumer is willing to spend money. That won't happen until the employment market stabilizes.
