Justices Rule on Va. Felons and Firearms

RICHMOND, Va. - The state Supreme Court says the courts have the sole discretion in Virginia whether felons who have served their time can have their firearm rights restored.

If they were for non-violent crimes all their rights should have been restored when their debt to society was paid.

If they were for violent crimes then they should not be allowed to have firearms.
