Just wanted you guys to beware that if your counting on getting what you bid on at gunbroker don't get your hopes up too high. I was the only bidder on a Ruger PC9, man i been looking for a good deal on one of those for over a year, and i won it for 400 bucks plus 20 bucks in shipping ... i was about to dance a jig, when Tonyltd, the seller, sent me a message saying he sold it out of his shop. The auction was still active and there was nothing in the listing saying that he reserved the right to end the auction early; but what made me mad was that gunbroker sided with him stating that there was no bids on it, when he sold it. Of course they're gonna side with him, he's the one paying the listing fee, me i'm just a buyer who they don't get anything out of. Beware of Tony Wilcox LLC,from Warrington, Virginia. that guy is out to make a sale and he dont care who he sticks it to. I'll never do business with that guy or gunbroker again. To me that constitutes breech of contract and internet fraud, maybe i'm just taking it to serious, but what would you guys do if it happened to you? In any case, should any of you guys know of a good deal on a PC9 let me know.

If anyone else has bad reviews on Gunbroker.com , there is an entire website dedicated to your cause at http://www.ihategunbroker.com Guests can post so you don't have to register. But there are lots of people out there who have endured the same scenario as the one described here.

not only does this guy rip peop-le off by rigging his bids, but he lies about it too. what did i fdo pick your name out of a hat? i still have the details of the auction saved. i was not thrown off of gunbroker either, i had to contact the manager so i could get my name removed, as well he was in denial, because at the time he said to me on my departure, "i'm sorry sir, that you could not comply with our regulations" like i said, whyt wsoulds gunbroker support my claims if i were not paying the listing fees? I'm not the only person they've done this too. tony wilcox is a slimeball who manipulated the system to his advantage.

take note that gunbroker.com has spent 2000.00 to sue IHATEGUNBROKER.COM site owners in order that the url be dropped because of so called copy right infringement. yeah, like gunbroker would ever advertise under the name IHATEGUNBROKER.COM . In any case, you can still rant and rave about the misconduct of gunbroker.com and the rip off artists, like tony wilcox, who gunbroker supports. As for checking tony's feedback, hes right it did never happen, because he closed the auction illegally, so he didn't have to sell the gun at such a cheap price. As for his childish slander, "And who would want to own a Ruger PC9 anyhow?", it just screams that tony wilcox ltd would bite his nose to spite his face. Look around and see how many PC9's you find for sale; you'll be lucky to find one. And the reson for that is because once you own one, you aren't going to part with it. I'd just like to re-iterate that if you do business with this guy, expect the worst. I can't help but feel compelled to expose a fraud when I see one.

Hate to tell all you guys but I've been dealing with Gunbroker for years, both buying and selling and have had over 50 transactions and the only problem I ever had was one guy who failed to include a sales receipt to the exacting requirements of the Phoenix PD. Everything I ever bought was as good as or even better than I expected, shipping was always timely. I love Gunbroker and tell everyone I know about the site.

I feel sorry for Mr GettyLeigh but I do believe he is confused about the facts and honestly believes that everyone is out to get him . He openly admits that he was removed from Gunbroker for failing to comply with Gunbroker regulations. A little thearapy and professional couchtime would do him some good . However I would like to thank the many happy customers I have had the pleasure of meeting through GunBroker.com . As for Gettyleigh, If you where me would you sell this guy a gun?????

I THINK MR. GETTYLEIGH SHOULD STOP HIS WHINING AND REALIZE THE SELLER HAS THE RIGHT TO SELL ANY ITEM AT ANY TIME. GUN BROKER IS VERY REPUTABLE BUSINESS AND WHINERS SHOULD SHOP ELSE WHERE.

After reading all the comments its apparent to me that GunBroker needs to establish better lines of communications between themselves and the general public/consumer without us there would be no GB.Don't be afraid to post your phone number and/or E-Mail address all of the large reputable companies do, i.e. J.C. Whitney, ebay, PartTrain, etc.some even have on-line adviser's who give "live-chat" when you have a problem and/or need advise. Get with the 21st century

I'm another wery satisfied Gunbroker supporter. I live in the sparsely populated state of alaska and until Gunbroker, Auctionarms and Gunsamerica came along we were really limited on what we could find for purchase up here. I offer many thanks to Gunbroker through whom I've met literally dozens of highly ethical, extremely helpful, and very knowledgable sellers who have been able to help me both in purchasing dozens of hard to find firearms, but parts and accessories at fair prices as well. Hats off to all three of these websites for what they've contributed to gun ownership in my world.

the same exact situation happened to me like the previous post by gettyleigh. i emailed gunbroker and their reply was that the seller was obligated to sell the gun to me. i then i replied again, asking if the seller violated gunbroker rules, no response and again, with no response. as we can see, obviously gunbroker caters to the seller not the buyer. ive bought several guns through gb without problems and still will. WARNING TO EVERYBODY, GUNBROKER DOES NOT SUPPORT THE BUYERS..........BEWARE!

Anyone who has ever done bussines with Tony knows he is a profesional with fair pricing. Tony will go out of his way to keep a customer happy. I have done many deals with him in the past with no problems. As for the guy complaining... well Idont think he should be allowed near a computer let alone a gun!!!!
Read at his posts carefully and you will see he is at the very least an idiot.

I friggin' love gunbroker.com !!! Now, I'm not saying that I haven't been screwed by non-trustworthy or lying sellers - I have (and you should have seen the face of the one PA seller when I showed up there with police in tow to finalize the deal that this one creep was trying to screw me on).

But, you gotta love a website where you can buy a 12ga home protection unit, shoot 25 cent buck, and blast a home-robbin' goblin back out through the same screen door they came scrambling in through -- and have 'em land twitchin' on the back patio. You can even buy "plant" weapons that you can leave with the corpse before you call the boys in blue!
