This is how the language will appear on the ballot for MISD BOND ELECTION. Please notice that they want unlimited control over the funding and how much tax they will charge

Midlothian bond pushers have the longest noses I have ever seen in a group of people. The flyer sent to our home states:

"...This $97.3M bond will only cost approximately $10/month for a $200K home..."

The actual wording on ballot is above. It states "unlimted" which was conveniently left off the flyer and replaced with $10/month I don't know how this bunch can sleep at night....their flyer is immoral and highly unethical. What a bunch of propagada.

The taxes in Midlothian, TX are out of control. We also have one of the highest debts per capita in the State of Texas. I am concerned about my city because there appears to be continual actions by the city and school district to put new schools and improvements basically on one side of town (more upper class), leaving some families of lower and some middle class neighborhoods footing the bill. The sense of community is suffering because this division. A large percent of the city council do not answer correspondence and appear to basically not about residents who are overtaxed and at the limit. There is a continual disagreement over the quality of the air in Midlothian due to the cement factories.

Current MISD debt before adding unnecessary bond (current statistics reveal school enrollment is actually on the decline).$360,745,594 By the time the high school is finished out, it could well be close to half a billion dollar debt and we are a small city. It is totally out of control!
