I have heard that there is a recent increase in burglaries in the Midlothian area but have not found any mention of it online. My house and a neighbors were hit in the last month or so I am curious to see how many other homes were as well. Does anyone know where i can research locate that information?

Where are you located in town? It would be helpful if we all knew where there was currently a problem.

Midlothian is a small town. If there is a problem in one part, it affects the rest of the town. It's not important what part of Midlo...

While the burglaries should be an issue for the whole town I dont believe wanting to know where in town is a bad question.

If you have problems with breakin's, citizens should be warned of the problem. Over here in Indiana in my town, Highland, the police have a monthly noon meeting with a light lunch and the full police reports are discussed. If for any reason there is a big problem, we have a phone alerting system that notifies townsfolk in 10 seconds. A persons phone rings and a recorded message is given. They use it to keep everyone on board. Like gas leaks,
hazardous warnings and anything that threatens a neighborhood. Back to your burglary problems. Doesn't the local paper carry any of the crime problems. Citizens need to know what is happening
in all parts of town. Crooks operating in a village float from one area to another. Be protected, demand the facts.

It is not a silly question at all. If there is a specific section of town being targeted, it's important. It could mean that the person/people live nearby or that there is an area that isn't being patrolled enough. I agree with Oldtimer that we should be notified. Nixle should be utilized more often. It would be quite helpful.

Is there a reason to be so nasty??? If you don't like reading it, don't read it! Face it, Midlothian has gone downhill, dramatically and lacks in comparison to other towns. That being said, still not a bad town. There are improvements that could be made though. Again, let go of the nastiness or simply skip this site.

Sorry I have so much to say about Indiana. I was thinking someone in Midlothian would hear of some of the things we enjoy over here in Indiana and maybe, by chance, someone would take one of these ideas and run with it in Midlothian. As for my tales as Wondering puts it,what have you done to improve the conditions in Midlothian. We did it over here, mainly by the towns people that work together. You ask why I post on the Midlothian Topix. I know there are many great residents in your town and I remember my past in Midlothian. But tell me, what have you done to make Midlothian any better. Complaining about an old man in Indiana appears to be your claim to glory.

I think you meant to say, "Saying *it's not important where, is *really stupid. Well, that's your opinion. In my opinion, adults that can't use grammar properly are really stupid. I guess we all have opinions huh? ;)

I was posting from my phone silly. It doesn't matter if I was missing apostrophe or a "ly"

You are just wrong. Dead wrong. Before computers police really did and some may still do put thumbtacks on a map to verify crime locations in order to figure next probable crime locations.

Alsip sends out crime happenings in town based on the 4 areas of the town.

Large towns are broken up into districts/wards to be able to highlight/itemize/breakdown large areas into smaller pieces to better serve residents of that area and the needs of the town as a whole.

So you see, you are wrong. Completely.

So you can stick that apostrophe up your butt.

The reality is you live on the east side of town. The side closer to posen and blue island..Or perhaps in Jolly Homes.Which has a walking path connected to Markham, and has had a fair share of crime as of late. Because of this you are defensive.
You don't want to see your area singled out as being worse then another.

These are problems you are having in your little insecure mind. Busting someone on grammer gives a boost to your highly senstive self.

See how easy it is for a superior mind to break down the weak. Now you can come back on here and deny what area you are in. But the reality is you are just lying to yourself.
