I liked it better when it was called Ben Franklin, Hooks, Lucky Luciano's, Groovy Disco, Pharoah's Night Club, Big Guys, and Papa T's.

Does anyone remember a couple years ago when Papa T's changed to Club Impulse?? Then back to Papa T's again? And now it's Sullivans! It's the same owner... He has lawsuits against him!

Great, more drunks on the road. The only new businesses, Midlothian seems to attract, is an adult motel for cheating spouses and bars.
The next business will be a family law divorce and bankruptcy attorney.
Are the Midlothian police, still turning a blind eye to all the ILLEGAL GAMBLING machines at Jack,s Place and TJ's ? Drunken fathers blowing thier families money and the police, village officals and the bar owners could care less.
"Midlothian the Village that Pride Built" Who was the Midlothian Drunk who coined that phrase?
Are you aware that "Prohibition" was repealed many years ago. And they stopped burning witches too.

Seriously, here are the facts people!
Sullivan's Irish Pub & Eatery is a completly new corporation with a NEW owner that has never had any affiliation with Papa T's or the towns that any Papa T's Locations were affiliated with. Sullivan's Irish Pub is a completely different place and owner and corporation! J.W. Saphire (Leagal name) d.b.a. Papa T's Italiano aka Papa T's Bar & Grill/Nightclub has not closed but moved. One Papa t's is still open at 63rd and California in Chicago. Papa T's Midlothian and it's Corporation has moved.. Sullivan's (Formely Papa T's) is a new owner and corporation.. Papa T's has moved into the Old Kenootz Pizza which is next door to Sullivan's.

Furthermore any establishment that is to sell Alcoholic Beverages by law has to post it's state and loacal Liquor License on the wall in view of the public. For all you Googler's out there The legal corporation name for Papa T's is stated in the EOCC's Suit. Stop into Sullivan's and see in the clear public eye the Sullivan's Corporation Papers, Business License and approved Liquor License's. Papa T's is a separate corporation and did not close but moved next door to Sullivan's and is opening a Pizzaria. Sullivan's is 100% a new place. You may notice the owner of Papa T's around the premesis or strip mall and that is because he is doing a build out for his Pizzaria that is scheduled to open in june!

P.s. I am an Attorney and a customer at Sullivan's

This is all public info people. Call your City, Alderman, etc.. Sullivan's is a new owner and Separate corporation, and 10 times the establishment any previous place has been in that location!

That's different than what was discussed during one of the board meetings I attended. We were told that there was one owner for both of the places you are talking about. It was even stated that both businesses were sharing the same kitchen.

Go to Sullivans this weekend...You wont find owner running around with a pen behind his ear helping out. You'll see him getting drunk there with his buds. I could see he likes talking about himself and what he knows and what he does and. all that. So I asked him what was up with next.store.He told me he was putting in a pizza place next store..So what that means, I don't know. I do know that.the guy kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Heard him say he owned this town and just.carried himself real arrogantly...Too bad, kinda liked the place.

I would bet that this establishment goes the route as all others in that location. I have heard that the village attorney is a partner in this venture so maybe that will help them succeed. I find it admirable that he chose to name his place after his father-in-law.

This place is awesome. Great service. The owner is so nice. I recommend for dinner or a fun night out with friends. All ages here too. Great mix of people and great bands on the weekends!

as for those that have no clue about the business aspect, if you don't like it don't go and if you're going by "here say" and have never been, try it out yourself. I'm almost positive that you will not be dossapointed. Btw, the owner is very nice and carries himself well. There is a huge difference between arrogance and confidence. The owner has treated my friends as well as my husband and I very well. As far as him drinking, sure he has a few drinks with the regulars and socializes. Nothing wrong with getting to know your customers. I have never walked into sullivans without seeing the owner working and helping everyone.(Employees as well as customers)
