Just received this e-mail and wanted to share with you all.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL - August 19th, 2010 - In a market that has seen little or no new development in the hospitality sector, the Sottrel Hotel Group, Inc. will break ground this month on a brand new Ambiance property at the south-west corner of 144th St. and Cicero Ave. The improvements consist of a 20,000 sf +/- boutique property that consists of 34 upscale rooms and suites. Sottrel Hotel Group, Inc. currently operates an Ambiance property in Franklin Park, IL. AMBIANCE, MIdlothian is scheduled to open March 1, 2011.

The total construction budget for the project is in excess of $4.5M or $132,000 per room/suite. All rooms and suites will feature 42" plasma televisions, oversized spa showers with rainfall fixtures, iPod docking stations, king-size beds with luxurious bedding and upscale fixtures, furnishings and amenities. Suites range in size from 400 square feet to 800 square feet and feature amenities such as oversized spa tubs, steam showers, fireplaces and en-suite theatres. When complete, the Ambiance, Midlothian will feature amenities commonly found only in 4 and 5 diamond hotel properties and will offer some of the most well appointed hotel suites in the Chicagoland suburbs.

"All of our rooms and suites offer a luxurious environment, but the suites we are most excited about are the OPTIMUM suites. The first floor of these two level suites will feature a 200 gallon hot tub, enormous spa shower for two, plasma television and an 18' high ceiling that extends to the second floor of the suite. The second level will feature a living room with an en-suite theatre, fireplace and wet bar. The upscale amenities and contemporary design continues in the bedroom space that offers a king-size bed, second fireplace, LED vibe lighting system and a third plasma television." said Frank Sottrel, President of Sottrel Hotel Group, Inc. "Unlike other hospitality businesses that are truly suffering during the recession, our REVPAR in 2009 were up significantly over 2008 and we are seeing a similar increase in 2010. Our market is strictly adult couples looking for an ultra contemporary, fun and exciting place to spend time together. Many couples tell us that they use to escape for a 3-day weekend to Las Vegas or New York but just don't have the time and money for such a trip. Our Ambiance brand provides a great alternative that is much more accessible and affordable."

A collaborative effort by Ethos Architects, Trapani Construction Company and Sottrel Hotel Group, Inc. has resulted in an attractive, very contemporary two story building that reflects the essence of the project as a boutique property. When developing the site plan, Sottrel Hotel Group, Inc. was sensitive to the fact that the site is adjacent to a residential development. The site plan allows for a generous landscape buffer between the property and the neighboring residences. Access to the property grounds and parking lot is provided by a key card access gate and only those registered are allowed on the property at any time. The site plan is enhanced by an entry garden that is visible from Cicero Avenue and abundant landscaping of native plant species will be installed around the immediate perimeter of the hotel.

Ambiance, Midlothian will cater strictly to adult couples that are members of the Ambiance Club. To join the Ambiance Club members must provide state issued identification, must be 21 years of age and agree to abide by the rules, regulations and by-laws of the Ambiance Club. In an effort to provide guests a secure and quiet environment Ambiance only allows two guests per room and does not allow visitors or minors on the property at any time. This unique policy ensures that guests of Ambiance have a quiet and relaxing experience.

(CONT'D)

"So many people today are working sixty or more hours per week; working hard to raise their families and caring for elderly family members is more common than ever before. Ambiance gives couples an opportunity to spend time together in a beautiful and modern setting. From enhanced lighting systems to the design of our spa showers to our enormous custom jetted baths, we've worked tirelessly to ensure that a stay at an Ambiance property cannot be duplicated. We provide a variety of accommodations and rate structures that start around just fifty dollars that make a stay at Ambiance a great alternative to going to dinner and a movie and when couples stay at Ambiance, they actually get to spend time together - something that many couple these days have forgotten how to do.", stated Frank Sottrel.

Where at?? El Burrito is getting a little old. Mostly it's all the same but I myself would really like to run in to some Nachos like El Cortez has.

Now, a nice Rib joint sounds like a good idea to me:) Of course they wouldn't be as good as mine but I see nothing wrong with a good Rib place.

Just north of 147th & Pulaski on the west side of Pulaski. It's a new building where near where the day care was. I think it is going to be called Sierra's. Love everything at El Cortez, but I do like a few things from El Burrito Loco (their Barbacoa taco, and they have the best red hot sauce I have ever tasted.!)

No offense to Mexicans, but I do not like their food at all. You know it's bad when I'd prefer Taco Bell to a real Mexican restaurant (No, I don't like Taco Bell that much either!).:) They can come here though. Bring in the tax revenue!:)

A rib joint is ok, but I'd like to see some competition for Hog Wild and for Keystone. Hog Wild is good, but I'm tiring of the same things (I'm a picky eater) and the limited things my husband can eat. And I think we all know how I LOATHE Keystone. Would like to see a place like them though where you can get some variety.

I'll look forward to them opening. Thanks.
Tell you what though, you want some excellent Hot sauce, go to El Patio on Cicero by Nonnas. Their sauce in my opinion is a perfect blend. Hot enought to taste and give that "tingle" but not so hot where you can't enjoy it. Fresh and Chunky also. I personally lost it for El Cortez last time I was there and noticed that they charged 75 cents per container for carry out. I looked at that receipt twice just to make sure. I had 7 containers and that was $5.25 extra. That was at CC Hills, I don't know about Blue Island.

Awww thanks guys!! I just get so mad at people saying things like that. I've said before that I am from a very racially diverse family and I take great offense at comments like that. People are people, good, bad, or otherwise, regardless of their ethnicity.
