Never went there after the Christmas tree guy on 147th told me they try to buy him out every year, went to Busy bee and they wanted at least double of what he was asking for trees.

I've been there a few times, bought once. They seemed nice enough, but since I didn't have an issue I can't comment on their customer service beyond initial purchase.

If you don't like them though, I can tell you my mom has loved Fasel & Sons in Oak Lawn for years. And they do take you seriously if a plant dies that fast.

I went to Busy Bee for help. I had a serious problem with my lawn. I had a fungus, grub and a small rodent problem. They were great. The people I dealt with were very knowledgeable and helped me clear up all of my problems. They were right on the money. Although I did not buy any plants I was very happy with their service.

I've been there and found the prices way to high for the product , the owner didn't seem all that friendly , if you want my money give me a reasonably priced item and be polite or I won't be back , and I won't go back there.

Cant believe how far some people will go to try and hurt a small local business. I bet its the same person posting these negative comments. You can always go buy crap from somewhere else, somewhere where they will send the money over seas. Way to support America ay? How hard is it to ask for a manager and express your concerns? I have never been there but if I do happen to need a bush or whatever I will spend my money there and if I have a issue with said purchase I will call the manager....

Personally for me, that's the only place I buy my Vegetables plants at. Never had a problem in all the years I've been going there. One should remember that when buying Trees, Shrubs etc, for the most part they are root bound meaning that they are all roots shoved in a pot and no dirt in the pot. If the leaves are turning in, then they are thirsty and need water. Also the transportation can have a lot to do with it.

I agree. Before a purchase I would check on thier return policy and always snap a small pice first. If it's dying, it will break easily.

The trees/bushes definitely do havs a 1 yr warranty. have written many of them up. my experience working there was the managers and owner took issues/concerns seriously. some things may be a bit overpriced but I believe they get good quality things. Also it was my first job I credit the owner for my good work ethic and politeness to customers so if anyone was subpar I dont think the owner/manager was aware because they would have a problem with that. Real cool place to work for any teens looking for summer job and early closing hrs
