Tacoma teacher suspended over physical discipline

A teacher at Mary Lyon Elementary School in Tacoma has been suspended for an investigation of inappropriate physical discipline.

This is bullshit. Kids need the consistency of discipline both at school and at home, and thanks to the P.C. liberal movement that's not even possible anymore.

When are people going to figure out that there is a difference between a beating and a spanking?!
There has to be consequences to misbehaving. If not, why would a child listen to its parents and obey, just because they say so, I don't think so. If a criminal knew no one was going to punish him, why would he worry about not being a criminal?

So true.Thats why children these days do as they please and have no respect for their parents or any kind of authority figure.
