I just can't get over how he was even hired in Seaside, CA. What a fix that was. Ipersonally know of people that were harassed by him in Tacoma. A liar, a cheat and his wife is too.

good luck seaside....when Corpuz "left" Tacoma, it was an abrupt retirement to avoid being fired. That retirement netted him $101,000 a year of tax payer money and eventually and inexplicably a job in your city.

When I heard that Corpuz got another job after he was run out of Tacoma I was more than suprised. I thought that he must have been hired by the biggest fools in the world. Seaside couldn't be bothered with a google search ? Bet he got a contract that says he gets paid if he gets fired no matter what. He hosed us. Next stop for him should be jail. He has a history of obstruction.
Tell you what. I'll take the job. Pay me half as much and I'll follow the law and get work done. I'd love to live there.

Yes indeed when I heard that Seaside CA had hired him I was dumbstruck. But then I figured that those who were doing the hiring were looking for a particular type... if you get my drift. A couple days after getting totally s-faced and driving his car over a roundabout before being arrested, after the cops heard him coming from a half mile away, driving on two good tires and what was left of the brake rotors on the other side, I run into him coming out of the Tacoma YMCA just as proud as you please. He and those around him know no shame, they display a narcissism that is hard for normal people to comprehend. Tacoma government is still infested with Corpuz cronies and members of his circle. Not exactly a city chief executive officer type, huh ? If he is found culpable for the charges, you people in Seaside need to take a LONG LOOK at your screening process.

The mayor and city council voted to hire him. With the ding dongs sitting on the council, we wonder why we have this city manager? We need to ask the council what qualifies them to hire someone without reviewing their background first. It's obvious they looked at whatever resume' he submitted nd said, "oh, he looks nice let's hire him." instead of investigating his background.
