If threats are made against law officers by a drug cartel, arrests should be made with weapons drawn and safeties off with numerous officers there for support. Law enforcement should target the threat makers for any infraction until they move back to Mexico or get thrown in jail. Many people in the area immigrate from Ojinaga, Mexico, for the jobs in the oilfield. Unfortunately, the cartels migrate as well to the money. When you have a lax immigration policy or enforcement , you put local and state law officers in a precarious situation. They should react as if they're under fire. Anyone pulling that Alinsky bullshit of trying to film so the useless, biased media can manufacture headlines, should be immediately identified and ran through local news so the local people can start filming them, laughing at them and point fingers at them to teach their kids what a piece of anti community trash they are.

For all we know, nearly every threatened officer probably deserved it. Don't be an a**hole. Problem solved (unless it is a cartel problem - they target officers just for doing their job). The problem is that so many departments hire the meanest, most raping, most bullysome, stupidest, most bigoted jerks they can who would do better off in prison. If you REALLY want to be a cop because you get to boss others around, have unwarranted authority, take up for abusers, be a cowboy cop, force your ideas on others, and/or hide behind a blue wall, you'd probably do best to put a piece to your own head and pull the trigger, since we don't need such people as officers (or soldiers for that matter - unless they want front line combat).
Yes, there are good cops out there who only shoot when they must, who are not rude, not bigots, and respect fair speech.
Also, this is notwithstanding the previous post, which is a good one.
It is funny what their screen handle translates to. El Diablo means The Devil. At least they are not lying about their character with their screen name. You'd expect the Devil to make death threats.

It probably is cartel stuff. In the updated article, the threats were traced to Mexico.

The last I read was that it was traced to an insane person.
