It's been said that happiness is Texas in the rear view mirror. I'll agree, if you happen to be baking up. Moved away from Texas a few years back, would love to come back home. The reason other states don't like Texas is jealousy.

Its the "blue" states that hate us! Have you ever seen a truly happy democrat? They are always mad about something or complaining about another! They are also mad because we were financially responsible with our money and are not in any way as bad of shape as lets say, Michigan, New York, Claifornia, or Illinois. All i have to say is GOD bless Texas and anyone wanting to escape from those angry states your more than welcome to come here and become Texanized!

Texas is great.....at least some parts. But Midland sucks! Spent most of my life there and left 23 years ago.....thank God. Hope I never see it again. Its a dry, dusty and boring town.

That's not nice! I love Midland. Yes, it might be boring. But we like it that way. Keeps the crime rate down. Now with the economy, it has it's moments, like everyone else. Midland has grown so much and our city is kept clean. Not perfect, but I'm proud of it!

Yeah, I guess that was mean and I didn't mean it that way. Just my opinion. It is really my 'home town' but it is very hot, dry and dusty, prices were high, and I didn't enjoy living there. There are so many more beautiful places to live in Texas where there are trees, rivers and lakes. I am here now and wouldn't trade it for the desert again. But forgive my bluntness.

All is forgiven. I love the state of Texas. I couldn't live anywhere else. Have a great day!

Texas does not know how to get along with the rest of the world. That is like going to another country. I look any day to need a pass port to visit there.
