The 9-10 year old Headland All-Stars won their game last night, beating Abbeville 6-3. This now makes the 10th game in a row that they have one, with just one more game remaining in the regular season.

Headland needs to come out and support these young men and ladies as we edge another step closer to a try for the State Title.

Next game will be Friday, 26 April at 5pm against Georgianna at the Stan Ripley Center in Georgianna. Please come out and support if you can.

I know that is a long ride, but these kids need you in the stands pulling for them. They have the best record they have ever had and are currently number one in the league, but we have the lowest turnout of supports of any other team.

Donations are also being collected to help defray the cost of their travel to the State playoffs in Birmingham. League rules say they cannot have corporate sponsorships this year like they have in the past.

Where can I go to donate to the team?
I have not seen anywhere in town collecting donations.

What ever happend to the child that was badly injured in the first game of the season? Have they recovered? Have they been able to play any more?

(Did his parents sue?)
